The whole hotel was just beautiful! From the gorgeous signature scent in the reception area, to the very helpful staff, and the quality of the room and dining areas. The breakfast was absolutely superb! We loved that we could order a memory foam pillow, which was delivered quickly by the staff. An absolutely first rate stay!

The hotel was fabulous. We stayed in a suite and it was roomy and wonderful. We had breakfast brought to our room in the morning. So relaxing. They made you feel like royalty.

I was in a room on the second floor at an adjacent building from the main building of this hotel complex. There were 4 rooms on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a separate bathroom in the room with a bathtub. There was a plexiglass protecting the one side of the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out. The hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was very good. The breakfast was typical Scottish style breakfast and was excellent. It was freshly cooked on the spot and the coffee was made on order (machine made and tasty!) The complex is right next to the Drumoig golf course and there was a deal for a "stay and play" which was very attractive in terms of pricing.

Rufflets Hotel offers award-winning gardens, free Wi-Fi and a contemporary restaurant. The hotel is just outside St Andrews center, a 5-minute drive from St Andrews Old Course.

Great location not far from the castle, its grounds and close to the beach. Very well equipped and maintained cottage with everything you need for your stay. Good walks on the doorstep especially north of Tay estuary towards Monifieth. Loved the individual wee artworks in the rooms.
