Super clean! Was given privacy. Room and bathroom had everything I needed. Walking distance to everything I needed.

Andy, Debbie, Lauren, and Paula were extremely welcoming. I had flown from Florida to Manchester and had driven all day in bad fog with jet leg. What a beautiful destination the Penny Hedge was. Excellent range of well-kept beers, great evening menu, excellent full English breakfast, clean rooms - slept 10 hours. What a positive asset to Whitby. I would stay here every time !!

Fantastic location on the cliff close to the beach and harbor with lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Amazing bar, nice cosy café with outside patio, good food, spacious room, nice friendly helfull staff.

The Stables offers 4-star dining and accommodations, 2 miles from the seaside town of Whitby.

Best place that I have ever stayed in. It had Beautiful decor, excellent food, tranquil location, and great access to bus for going to town.

Set in a stunning location next to Whitby’s famous Gothic Abbey, this historic building offers beautiful views of the coast. YHA Whitby offers extensive gardens, 24-hour access, and a restaurant.

It is an amazing big old building. Staying in that building was almost as much fun as visiting Whitby. Terrific location!
