Second time staying. Comfy beds, super clean, well equiped, great reception-less system.

The staff was incredibly friendly! When we arrived we got an upgraded room and a small tour, which was just lovely! The room was clean and very nice, the bed was also very comfortable!

The concept of the Hostel was very beautiful to be turned from a prison into a cozy living space.

Love this hotel. Wonderful rooms, nicely designed, quiet and very well located. The service is friendly and professional and very International which is nice. Extra bonus are the rental bikes. I’ll definitely return

Beautiful modern hotel with a fantastic restaurant on the top level, great views, comfy pillows and bed. Large corner room was lovely!

I recently stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Leeuwarden and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is modern, spacious, and immaculately maintained. My room was large, with a comfortable bed, stylish décor, and a spotless bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower. Small touches like the coffee machine, generous desk space, and quiet atmosphere made it perfect for both work and relaxation. The breakfast: unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast. Location-wise: the hotel is just outside the city center, making it easy to reach by car with free parking, yet only a short drive or bike ride into Leeuwarden’s charming old town. What stood out most was the staff: friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make guests feel welcome. From check-in to check-out, everything felt effortless and well-organized.
