AustriaThe location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Herbert and Martina are very friendly hosts and have a absolutely stunning house close to the lake and surrounded by beautiful mountains.
We stayed here with our 2 young kids and enjoyed every minute.

We stayed here a week. It is up a little hill overlooking the lake. It was spotlessly clean, very modern and bright, with everything you could possibly need, bed comfortable, nice view of the mountains and lake and Grundlsee itself is only 2 mins walk down a little hill, with a little supermarket there that is well stocked and grassy areas with steps into the lake for a swim. The family seem lovely and give you space and independence. It was perfect for us and we’d highly recommend it. Thank you to the Fuchs family! 🙏

The flat itself is fairly well laid out for 3 persons, comfortable beds plus sofa and large enough to move around. The toilet area and the shower area was divided by a glass separator (which was not ceiling high) and this was interesting to see upon arrival. It was bright but you are almost too visible from the passers by on the parking lot across or the hotel across. It is close directly to the lake and other facilities as well as activities in Grundlsee. For a short 2 night stay, this was an acceptable flat.

Who has ever been staying at a Jufa hotel, know what to expect in terms of quality and efficiency. It is not a 5 star hotel with fancy bars and dunno what else - it's a very nice location for hiking, for just enjoying the views, for relaxing. In short ... great place.

The views in this place are are stunning. Really worth staying there for a relaxing couple of days enjoying the nature beauty. Breakfast is also great to set their watching the amazing scenery. The hotel has also good range of services.

The accommodation is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. Lake Grundlsee is a beautiful quiet location, very suitable for family holidays, pleasant swimming, fishing in the lake. The apartment was cosy, clean, superbly equipped, e.g. many kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, gave us tips on excursions and events in the area, were interested in us all the time to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed.
Definitely recommend to try :-)
