Beautiful location. Lots of amenities. Free parking. 24 hour desk service if you’re on the road. Friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of breakfast options. Overall it’s a large complex with enough capacity to service guests of varying requirements. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Balance Spa and Hotel was heartfelt and truly special. The hotel is very family-oriented, and the staff make you feel genuinely known and cared for. They even surprised us with a special gluten-free birthday cake for our daughter, which meant a lot to us. The food was absolutely outstanding—gourmet-level, delicious, and made with so much heart. Every meal reflected the care and talent of Andrea Grossman, whose cooking is simply incredible and full of thoughtful touches. The sauna experience was another highlight, especially the Soul Aufguss led by Carmen. She created a beautiful, moving atmosphere and even sang during the Aufguss, which we really loved. She also prepared a special cream for us to use between sessions—a lovely detail. The room was comfortable, and the cleaning staff were exceptionally friendly and warm. Overall, Balance Spa and Hotel is a place where you feel personally cared for in every detail.

Absolutely stunning location and historic building and grounds. Staff was very friendly, food and drinks were great, and so many options for activities from Tennis to swimming to waterskiing. Great rooms for families.

The apartment was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed! Our stay was very comfortable, and the views of the lake from the amazing balcony were incredible. We wished we had more time there—we absolutely loved it! The hosting family was incredibly nice, and we were lucky to meet them. The few days we spent there were definitely a highlight of our trip. If you're planning to visit Austria and this incredible lake, I highly recommend staying here. Also, be sure to check out Solid Golf in Klagenfurt while you're there, you're sure to have a fun time!

Location, apartment was spacious, terrace as well, really nice view. Parking just in front of building, Hofer 5mins walk, swimming spot/ tiny beach as well

Amazing view, beautiful room, such sweet staff, perfect breakfast. Close to Pörtschach town, with many stores and restaurants! Close to Klargenfurt and Velden am Wörthersee, and Wörthersee itself. There are many places to visit.

Extremely friendly staff, home-like feeling and treatment! The owner offered freshly baked muffins, he makes sure everything is perfect keeps asking to ensure that. Very pleasant experience to be repeated!

The hosts were amazing, they got up early to make us sandwiches when we had to leave before breakfast time to leave for the airport. They also helped us with a dinner reservation. Very sweet!!

Location, balcony, enough space, and cleanness.

The apartment is brand new and beautifully appointed with high quality furniture and inclusions. We loved staying here and extended our stay to 2 days. It is only a short walk to the lakeside and restaurants, and Portscach Am Worthersee is a lovely little village. Well worth staying for a few days to take in all the sights. Don't forget to visit 'Bäckerei Wienerroither Pörtschach am Wörthersee' every day for coffee, hot chocolate and some amazing pastries, cakes, deserts and breads. Free parking inside a security gate is great as parking is a premium in this town. There is also a multi lingual information folder provided in 5 languages. The hosts are very nice people and very helpful.
