Location, the house, space and property we're all fantastic. The kitchen was set up above and beyond what you'd expect from rental accommodation and was perfect for self catering. Also perfect viewing if you're lucky enough to have an aurora

We love the tranquility and the nature. Cottage is very cosy and homely. We were blessed with a splendid aurora on our first night. Suhera and Annie (the pet dog) were great host and we enjoyed our stay very much.

If you want to stay at a quiet, beautiful and well appointed retreat, this is the place for you!

The Shepherd's Hut is so wonderfully established and thoughtfully put together, that my partner and I regretted only staying 1 night! With fresh eggs, baked cookies and cereal on the counter on entry, milk in the fridge, and all sorts of teas and tasmanian blend coffee available - the owners showed care and consideration in making this a welcoming home. The environmentally conscious approach to the bathroom matched the asthetic of the tiny home feel and surrounding landscape, with Australian soaps and shampoos bringing native scents to the experience. Inside was warm and full of soft furnishings, with a heater and blankets there to take the chill away. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need - with plates, cutlery, cooking tools, a 2-burner stove, fridge, kettle and microwave available. The inclusion of books about Tasmania, games for people to play and a torch for the night was a wonderful bit of detail. Regrettably, we didn't have the time to utilise the wood fire, but appreciated the setup as it was positioned looking into the surrounding land. This is clearly a much loved accommodation and was a space we felt immediately at home in for our short stay.

Awesome location AND VIEWS...a bit of hitch getting the keys from lock but it was handled swiftly by the host..everything was great. 10min drive is a good grocery shop that we used for home breakfast and home dinner

Lovely, huge house in a great location. The house is exactly the same as the image on Booking. The door is facing south, with a chance to see the Southern Lights if the sky is clear and the KP index is high. Too bad we missed the chance on that night.

An amazing quiet private place. The location is stunning. We loved the cozy fire, and the outside shower. The highlight however was the fresh warm sour dough loaf in the mailbox every morning.

My experience staying at Little Pardalote Tiny Home Bruny Island was amazing. It seems a brand-new container on wheels with everything you need. Internet was pretty good too, and we really needed a good one for that specific weekend which we watched my soccer team Fluminense (from Brazil) be champion of Libertadores. The place is well located at Alonnah, 10 minutes driving to The Neck and Adventure Bay, and also near restaurants. It has a nice parking place as well, and it is not too far from the Lighthouse and other touristic places in Bruny Island. There is everything you need inside the accommodation, and all worked well during my three night-stay. The fireplace is a charming. Keep an eye out for wallabies around the accommodation in the night, it is lovely. Karen was a nice host and was very kind to allow us to do an early check-in in that opportunity. I enjoyed my stay in this wonderful place!

The host were very accommodating with all the necessary necessities met. It was a great experience to have kept green, especially living in the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a long time

Easy to communicate with Karen by text. She was kind enough to let us in before check-in time. Not too difficult to find the house on the left-hand side of the main south-western road past the "baker's fridge" on the right-hand side. Well furnished, stove top, crockery, reversible A/C, fridge, heating blankets, etc. There were some issues with the Wifi but Karen offered us a late check out to compensate, which was a very commercial and appreciated gesture. Very quiet during the night.

The location was fabulous - I felt quite privileged to be in this serene, sea-side setting, with native roos coming by. Even though the rooms were all separate, they were all beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and connected by gorgeous timber decking. The fire pit area and the outdoor shower were great.

Stunning house with beautiful views from inside and balconies. Great location, clean, wildlife behind windows… Everything was perfect!
