Accommodations in Umoljani

Our recent stay at the etno motel and restaurant in Lukomir Village was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the friendly and kind hosts. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, especially Raha, whose grandmotherly care and attentiveness were truly special. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the traditional Bosnian meals prepared by Raha herself. Each dish was bursting with flavor, but the pita (zeljanica) was truly outstanding. The food alone would be reason enough to return. The design of the motel perfectly captures the essence of a traditional Bosnian rural village. The authentic decor and cozy atmosphere made me feel as if I had stepped back in time, while still enjoying all the comforts of a clean and well-maintained space. Overall, the location is fantastic, nestled in the peaceful Lukomir Village, it offers a serene escape with breathtaking views. From there you can easily hike up to the Obalj peak and enjoy the view towards Rakitnica Canyon and Visočica Mountain. I highly recommend this etno motel to anyone looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience in Bosnia. I can’t wait to return!

The location was perfect — peaceful, surrounded by nature and mountains. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I really appreciated the hospitality and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Sve je bilo izuzetno, osoblje vrlo uslužno i ljubazno, hrana odlična, lokacija super. Svaki naš upit je realizovan vrlo brzo i efikasno.

I definitely can consider myself lucky finding such a great accomodation in the heart of the mountains and spend part of my holiday during Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 trip. It is a wonderful location with really beautiful views around and amazing scenery. Rooms are very comfortable and spaceful. Even the food was really delicious 😋...I cannot forget about fantastic home made cooked meals and about the lady who spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals. The lady is absolutely amazing and very kind person who really took a good care while I stayed in Umoljani. And the breakfast was pretty amazing. Local food which is excellent energy for the intensive hiking and climbing. You can also order delicious dinner in the pension. The pension is so amazing place, that I decided to stay for one more night there enjoying really lot! Thank you very much for the hospitality! I hope to come here again with possibility to stay in the pension again! Highly recommend!

This place is an absolute masterpiece. The cabins are so comfortable and come with all the basics you need for a great stay. The food is out of the world over there, made with love and authenticity. Location is wonderful in a very quiet and secluded area and is very close to the start of the hike towards Lukomir. If I’m ever back in Bosnia, I’ll be sure to stay here again.
