United StatesWe landed in SJO late and wanted a place close to airport. We were able to arrange pick up for small price from our hostess Adriana. She found us immediately! In the morning Blanquita and Adriana serve us a delicious typical CR breakfast. Later they assisted in getting tickets to Poas volcano and Adiana drove us and waited while we hiked and took pics. She later drove us to downtown market for lunch and shopping.

The hostess was such a delight! A wonderfully sweet woman who is very helpful, despite our limited Spanish she was able to tell us about a nearby restaurant and market, if you don’t mind a short walk. The accommodations were superior! Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet. We had to leave at 4am for our flight, she was up with a breakfast and called the cab for us! I highly recommend the stay, even for just a night!

Very friendly and helpful host. Facilities were fine. Great place for an overnight stay after arrival from across the Atlantic. Accommodation was in a residential area but close to a supermarket.

We stayed here after our long flight, and it was a very pleasant arrival in a calm and romantic setting, ideal to start your holiday. Good dinner and breakfast (many options). Clean rooms.

We have stayed here several times over the past three years and never been disappointed. Although the accommodations are modest it is good value, well run, in a nice neighbourhood, convenient to the airport, and has a clean, decently equipped kitchen. Recommended.

This was absolutely the best place we stayed at for our whole trip. We only stayed one night based on our travel plans but wished we would have been able to stay longer. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The views were unbeatable and offered a very relaxing atmosphere.
