The staff and the room were highlights—as well as the water station and location related to things to see in Versailles.

Very clean, versatile, quiet, great parking and it’s within walking distance from the metro train.

Owner was awesome. Stayed back for my late arrival even though he couldn’t get in touch with me since I was in metro getting there. Location is on top of bar which he runs. Provided us water from bar knowing we came late and needed it. Did not mind us leaving luggage for palace visit

Really beautiful and well kept hostel! Comfortable beds with an outlet and privacy curtain; excellent restaurant with delicious food on-site (dinner in my photo). Communal bathrooms are regularly cleaned and I almost never encountered someone else while I was in them. Yes, you need to make your bed upon arrival but I didn’t mind. Wonderful perk to be able to buy a ticket to Versailles Palace at reception and save time in the queue! ❤️ I really enjoyed staying in a calming space outside of Paris, but if you want to go into the city, it’s not hard to access the tram and the metro. You can pay for metro fare on the IDF Mobilités app.

The staff is great, the room is so clean. The location is so quiet. The SPA is unbelievable.

The location also benefits are perfect for me.

Hotel is located in a perfect location for exploring. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and there were plenty of options even for picky eaters in our group.

An absolutely amazing and magical stay. From exiting the train station in Versailles to check out, this stay was completely effortless and made easy for me. Many signs outside of the station leading to the hotel, which also told me that the hotel was established and well known. It was close to the city centre and train station, making commute and grabbing food or groceries easy. Upon check in I was greeted by the sweetest, kindest, and most helpful woman at reception. She did absolutely everything she could to help me and make my stay perfect and comfortable. The room itself was gorgeous. Sparkling clean, with a gorgeous view of the street and Parisian buildings. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows were perfect, and the shower was warm and roomy. The room even had a single pull out bed inside a chair if needed. I asked to stay another night if possible and this was not a problem at all. On arrival I did not have the right change to pay for the city tax and the receptionist assured me this was not a problem and to handle it at check out with her. I also did not have a converter for the EU and she went out of her way to provide me with two that saved my devices and peace of mind while staying. Unfortunately I was quite sick while staying here and did not get to explore the hotel or Salle de Pleume as much as I would have liked. But this perfect hotel with the right amount of French charm and modernity saved my trip and allowed me to take the rest I sorely needed. I would ABSOLUTELY return and would suggest anyone looking for a stay where you can turn off your brain in a foreign country to consider the Hotel de jeu de pleume. Can’t recommend the staff more. Friendly, courteous, and beautiful. I will certainly be back very soon!!

Brand new, spacious one bedroom apartment a quick five minute walk to the Palace of Versailles. Comfortable and quiet, well appointed with several restaurants close by.

Location is fantastic! Place would be perfect if it wasn’t for the smell. Well equipped, well located, cleaned, and good value.
