First impression was friendliness and personal attention at check in. Second impression was the room... This was immediately inviting at first sight.... Beautifully furnished, softly lit, pleasant and subtle mood music on the radio. Clean, neat and tidy facilities, particularly detailed attention to coffee, tea and bottled water. Always important ... a pristinely clean, warm and spacious bathroom. These separate rooms at the rear of the property are pleasantly quiet, very well designed, tastefully built and cleverly nestled on an embankment with their own secluded car park. A thoroughly enjoyable place to stay only 20 mins from the city centre. I will be very happy to revisit.

Stunning location (even in the rain). Short, flat walk into Bath centre. We stayed in the Garden Room, which was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The room was exceptional, a lovely place to relax and in a five minutes walk you could be in the centre of Bath!!! We had an amazing breakfast 10/10 all the staff are really helpful and were so polite!! I highly recommend for a weekend away!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Linhay Cottages as a family of three with our two dogs. From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. The property itself is beautiful, exceptionally well designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout worked perfectly for both our family and our dogs, and we really appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal, offering a relaxing countryside feel while being just a short drive from Bath, making it easy to explore the city and surrounding areas. The combination of a lovely home, great hosts, and a fantastic location made for a truly enjoyable break. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend Linhay Cottages to anyone looking for a comfortable, dog-friendly stay near Bath.

The streamliner was very comfortable, decor has been thoughtfully chosen and is well suited. Staff were so friendly and helpful after a long day driving. My thermals were not thick enough for the British weather so the extra blankets were very welcome.

This was one of the best properties ever and so clean! Ideal location, stunning views! We appreciated how big the property was . Host were so helpful!

Amazing View. The house is beautifull and confortable. You have everything to feel at home. Good wifi and tv if needed. Place to park (And you’ll need a car), altough the city is only 8 minutes away. We had a last minute change due to my son sickness and the owner did acommodate the date change without any problem. Very easy going and very quick to answer. The beds and linens are top quality, I'm a Pilot so my life is spent in hotels and this bed (Twin) was way above expected. Its amazing to wake up, look outside and just contemplate nature. I highly recommend. We will return.
