The pub and food there was outstanding, the best we experienced on our 30+ day vacation. We will definitely return!

500 year old pub with rooms in a small village very near the white cliffs of Beachy Head. The room was quite comfortable, The dinner and breakfast were also very good.

It’s a roomy vintage hotel, and the manager was kind enough to upgrade my room since it was available. They have two sitting rooms in the ground floor, an elevator, a nice dining room where they serve breakfast, including eggs & sausage if you wish. Their dining room is open on weekends, but I missed that, so no review for that. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which is lovely. Plus the sightseeing bus has started to run for the season.

Great location for the Congress and Devonshire Theatres-the reason that we stayed in Eastbourne. Had dinner on the Sunday. Outstanding!

Charming cottage, great location! The pub is great, their food really good and they were very welcoming. The litttle extras made us feel really welcome - the lemon drizzle cake was definitely an extra that hit the mark!

Fabulous place to get together with other families!! Clean, so spacious and beautiful. It has everything you need and more!! We will be back for sure!!

It's right on the Seven Sisters Cliffs and an easy walk to the beach.

Lovely room, very quiet and comfortable. Just what I needed after a long walk on the Downs. Loads of tea and biscuits!!

Beautiful, quiet location on the village green opposite the pub, with excellent walks on the doorstep. The room was tastefully decorated with nice touches like books and a housekeeping basket left outside on the second day. Staff were very kind and friendly.
