We are set on a ridge with panoramic views of the valleys and coastline to three sides giving a dramatic backdrop and facinating playground for your stay. Lots of guests like to relax at the pool, play in the garden with some refreshments, cocktails & BBQ's and just spend precious time together. If you prefer a little more action and adventure there is plenty to engage you right on the doorstep... Rambling, equestrian & mountain bike trails wind through the forest, Watersports such as kyaking and sailing are available at the Cukemere and Eastbourne coast. If you prefer Champagne & a picknick the National Park is at the end of the driveway & is yours to enjoy, or you can book an experience at Beautiful Rathvinney Vinyard just two valleys away. Horse riding is available at Polegate where you can book a lesson followed by a hack into the woodlands. Or visit Drusillas Zoo which has lots to see and do with an eclectic variety of different species.
I am blessed with this glorious space and the ability to provide a warm welcome to you whether reuniting your loved ones celebrating one of lifes milestones or in support of a loved one going through lifes chalenges. Located inside the south downs national park we are idyllicly possisioned with panoramic costal forest and countryside views all around, Birling Gap, Cukemere valley, the seven sisters are all within walking distance. Eastbourne is a five country miles away with its dramatic, Comedic, Operatic and Shakesperian Theatrical options along with its art gallery and vibrant live band scene it ensures you wont be bored! Lots of lovely restaraunts also in town with recomendations on request.
The House sits on the edge of a quaint little village with all the charm you might expect. We have a market on Wednesday mornings with fish cheese meat and veg locally produced. We have a village theatrical society, cricket club, table tennis team, barn dances and flower shows, summer fetes and classic car show etc to keep us entertained. The village pub is 'The Tiger' and around 1 mile away just down the grassy hill past the church and has a lovely villlage green where children can play without traffic issues, the hikers rest, the Deli and the Thai Restaraunts are all lovely and so you may choose not to leave the village!
