This was our favourite stay in all of Scotland. The property is so peaceful with a beautiful sunset view. The hostess is very kind and welcoming, she even surprised me with some gluten free breakfast items and snacks. The space is comfortable and nicely furnished. Thanks for making us feel at home.

Amazing place! The cabin is fully equiped, very cozy and spot on clean. The host was very precise on the instructions to get there and we used the amenities for laundry (no dryer though). The view to the loch makes it even more perfect, and we were lucky to have a nice weather during our stay. The silence, if that's what you look for, is impressive.

Excellent location and views. Rooms were all more than enough size/space for my husband and myself. Very cosy.

Super cute and cozy, was really clean, had everything we needed for our 4 day stay and was really central to everything we wanted to visit. Rachael checked in with us several times and even left us a bunch of starter items for breakfast (bread, eggs, milk, butter, coffee and tea) that was so helpful and sweet!

Beautiful home with gorgeous view! Close to Portree.

We absolutely loved our stay at Solas. Its location is perfect to explore Skye, 10 minutes away from Portree and located in a very quiet area. The house itself is probably one of the best we have stayed at for a vacation rental. The owners are very thoughtful and the supplies and appliances are good quality (not typical cheap air B&B products). The house is beautiful inside, well renovated and very comfortable. Our kids got excited as soon as we checked in and picked their room and unpacked, which they don’t usually do. Because of the rain, we had one lazy day just staying home and felt very relaxed. The management company is top notch (we run a property management company ourselves). We had some issues, they were very helpful and professional. They gave very clear instructions through email and inside the house so we can make the best stay. We also appreciate the brand new cleansing cloths and sponges for the kitchen, and other supplies which help us keep the place clean. Highly recommend this place if you visit Skye!

Loved having a kitchen, beautiful views from the living room and the bathtub was amazing after a long day of hiking! Little extras like cereal and cookies were provided and everything was clean and cozy

Gorgeous guesthouse with a lovely view of the Skye sunset! The entire rental was spotless with all new amenities, plus a lovely little welcome kit waiting for us upon check in. We were even able to do some laundry after a week of nonstop travel.
