Right on the sea front, amazing views. Comfortable and cosy. Great utility area for cleaning up after our walks. Gorgeous part of Arran, with added bonus of little shop and bus stop just a few metres away.

Location is brilliant with a mature garden front and back. Tradicional open fire in the living room and plenty of space. Beautiful scenery

Gorgeous quiet stay! This Inn has such charm, it’s a wonderful choice for Lochranza! The staff were all so helpful and friendly, answering questions about bus service and sharing their local expertise. We could see the castle ruins from our window! The pub below had delicious food, and local brews on tap. The distillery is about a mile away, such a great experience!

I really appreciated the Youth Hostel for offering a breakfast service. The space where we could eat and clean our dishes was kept very well stocked and checked up on in case of needs for refills. The folks running the Youth Hostel were just really helpful and accommodating. If I ever meet someone coming to Arran, I’ll certainly recommend they stay here.

Stunning hillside views from the lounge, with purple rhododendrums in late May/early June. Sometimes you can see red deer too. Comfortable beds and everything you could need in the kitchen. Some simple breakfast foods are provided at no extra cost, but you can of course bring your own and keep it in one of the fridges, where you can also store your dinner and lunch ingredients. This accomodation is used by school parties in term time, so you are more likely to get a room in school holidays and weekends. Lochranza is a stunning part of Arran and there is a pub which is a ten mins walk from the accomodation.
