Accommodations in Southwold

Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, loved my stay. Everything in the hotel room was nice and clean are worked perfectly.

room was large and well appointed. breakfast is very good. Had 1 dinner to celebrate and birthday and it was excellent.

Overall it was lovely, lovely setting, lovely facilities and amazing room. Very clean, friendly staff. Not far from local facilities and the locals in the bar were very friendly, would definitely go back

This was the most charming inn. We loved the outdoor seating which was perfect for enjoying a pint in the summer breeze. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. I have never had such wonderful hollandaise sauce in all my life and that is my favorite. Loved the fish and chips and white bait too. And, the topper was walking to the beautiful beach. It was completely amazing.

The quietness at night so early

Location, quality of facilities and decor/furnishing. Southwold itself. Really appreciated receiving a call earlier in the day telling us that the apartment was ready and we could check-in whenever suited us. We have been staying in hotels and B&Bs for the last 3 weeks and this was the first time we were proactively informed when our accommodation was ready and that we could check-in early.

The upstairs flat is perfect for a person travelling on their own: it is compact but wonderfully furnished, plenty enough for one but doesn't feel cramped or small. Kitchen is well equipped, bedroom is lovely. The flat is lovely and light and does not feel claustrophobic. It is located right in the centre of Southwold, above a shop but there's no disturbances from this, and with the flat at the back of the building, there's no street noise either.

Appreciated the gift basket, especially the coffee! The location was excellent, really couldn't be better.
