Everything! Staff was exceedingly helpful and very pleasant. Food was exquisitely prepared.

We enjoyed the hotel location. The staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble & very professional. The room was comfortable & warm, with a four poster bed. The food was very good & well presented, especially the breakfast. Check in was quick & easy. The car parking excellent & adjacent to the hotel.

Emma, the manager of Cefn Tilla was fantastic. Friendly and helpful from 8 in the morning until midnight. Absolutely made our stay!

I spent a couple of nights here over the Christmas period, and really enjoyed my stay. Not only is it a lovely pub to drink in, but I found my room to be cozy, comfortable and very warm. The price I paid included a cooked breakfast, (which was done really well), and therefore, great value. The location is also excellent, as it's right in the centre of Usk. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Thank you to Stuart, Lee and the whole team for a lovely stay.

Our recent stay at this holiday house was an absolute delight. The location is truly exceptional, nestled in a beautiful rural setting that offered peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the stunning views was a real treat. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The thoughtful touch of a freshly baked loaf of bread, along with homemade jam and fresh milk, was such a lovely gesture and a delicious start to our holiday. The facility itself had everything we could possibly need, exactly as described in the listing. It was clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into ensuring guests have a comfortable and well-equipped stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cottage. Everything was so well organised from start to finish, with clear and helpful instructions, milk, wine and bottled water that made settling in effortless. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and full of character, making it feel like a real home from home. The garden was beautiful and a huge bonus for our dogs, as it was completely enclosed so they could safely explore and relax. The shower and bath were both fantastic after long days out, along the river usk which is right on your doorstep and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the kindness of the owners. We accidentally left our dog bowls behind, and they very kindly posted them back to us. The recommendations for places to eat in village were perfect, Such thoughtful service and attention to detail made our stay even more special. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay! 🐾🏡💕

Other reviews justly praise this property for its luxurious size, well-stocked kitchen, reliable wifi, and comfortable living room with plenty of couch space for a family to relax. Desmond and Marjorie reply promptly to messages and are easy to work with. Also know that the location is ideal for tourists with a rental car who want to visit castles: it is nearly equidistant between Raglan Castle, Monmouth Castle, and Chepstow Castle (as well as Tintern Abbey and its access to the Offa's Dyke hiking trail). Tangentially, the main street of Monmouth is worth visiting for restaurants, buying hiking poles if needed, etc. Don't think that staying at this location means you must do grocery shopping in Chepstow. We've included a photo of our teenage boys sitting on Devil's Pulpit, waiting for their slower parents to complete that portion of the hike.

Charming inn, charming community

Very smart modern bedrooms with all facilities, plus a great, comfortable, interesting and characterful old bar to enjoy a beer in. A lovely combination. Parking opposite and for motorbikes behind the hotel. Very good food. Strongly recommended (as long as they never modernise the bar!)

Excellent place and everything you need at location for a relaxing stay. Close to town as well

Henrhiw farm cottages was absolutely perfect. The garden provided excellent views in a quiet area (made better with Jacuzzis), the host was extremely accommodating, and the house itself was stunning.

Outstanding location with spectacular views. Very spacious property. Easy parking just outside the property. Any requests we had, the hosts dealt with immediately and couldn't do enough to help us. Thank you. We hope to be back in the future.
