This review is for the stay of my daughter and a friend, young adults. They experienced a lovely and cozy hotel. The location is great. 2 minutes walk from the beach yet in a more quiet back street that provided a more peaceful vibe. The staff, especially Chryssa and Sofoklis, were extremely friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was perfect to relax. We enjoyed our beautiful room with the jacuzzi in the balcony. Breakfast was just perfect, a small and sufficient buffet with great variety. The communication with the hotel from after the reservation and throughout our stay was perfect and they were attentive to our needs.

I think Akasha Hotel is the most well designed hotel you ever visit, its a modern and much attractive hotel Breakfast and dinner could be better to be honest but they good enough.. On the check-in, Akasha hotel made a mistake with us and did not give us the room we paid for, but immediately after we complained about that they have given us a free room upgrade which exceeds what we wanted. The staff and Hotel mangers are pretty good and their treatment is very nice!

For us it was close to the tennis courts for the tournaments my daughter was playing, it was great to be able to cook our own meals and there is a supermarket across the road. It was good value for what we needed it for and very convenient. You can see the ocean from the balcony and the pool is nice. The cleaner comes in most days and will give you clean towels every second day and change the sheets. You will need your own soap and shampoo, although there is some for the first day. Andreas is very helpful and always around if you need anything. The bus stop is near and it is very cheap to get on a bus, €3.10 to go to the main city (Heraklion) and the airport it takes about 40 min to 1hr. Don’t use the taxi’s the are very expensive and they only take cash there are no meters and they tell you a price. It’s €45 for on the airport to the apartment. There are plenty of ATM’s around. You can walk 10 minutes to a beach with sand to the right and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach across the road isn’t great and no sand. When you fly in get the bus to Nana beach, cross the road and walk to the right and it’s just up past the supermarket,with the buses you put alll your luggage underneath the bus.
