United StatesPerfect central location for anyone looking for a stay in the town of loughrea or the surrounding area, it’s walkable to all of the restaurants and shops in town. The host, Dolores is a trustworthy, wonderful human being who just so happens to host this rental! She made me welcome throughout my stay and offered many ideas for local attractions and places to eat.
The facilities are all spotless clean and it’s a much more home like feeling than staying in a hotel. The price of the stay was very reasonable and worth every penny. I’m looking forward to my next stay at the bearstone House when time allows me to get back to Ireland!

United StatesIt was so fun staying in the yurt. Really spacious inside and with a lovely deck around it with furniture for relaxing in the sun or shade. Enjoyed the story the host left on how they came to build this special place for others to stay in. We were amazed at how much room there is inside and how well it was set up for comfort. It was well equipped for cooking a meal or just relaxing in the living room playing a game or watching TV. It is really a great place to stay.

The room was separate from the homestead, so it offered such a lovely, private abide. Very quiet and pleasant. We slept great!!! Everything about it was comfortable and simple. Loved it!

United StatesWish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Gordon guesthouse was fantastic! Caroline was really nice and welcoming. The location was quiet and peaceful, just perfect.
The place was spotless, and everything you could need was provided. There were tea, coffee, cookies, and other snacks available. The breakfast was amazing, with a full Irish breakfast that was delicious.
Everything about our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and delightful stay.

The accommodation is in a brilliant location. Central to everything and right by the lake. Ursula, who owns it, was really helpful and advised regarding food for the evening.
We had to head home during the night due to unexpected family circumstances, but the B&B was lovely.

Lovely stay in quiet rural town. Breakfast is served in the cafe where there is a fabulous variety of options to choose from. Very friendly host. Shop 1 minute walk away.

There was no breakfast and usual coffee and teas were provided. It was the perfect stay for me even though it rained and was cold. Would have loved another night there, and Ursula answered all my questions

The location was perfect, was ample parking. Our host was fantastic, no waiting to check in, lots of information on places to go locally,. Accommodation was really warm. There were bottles of water in the fridge for us. Super clean. Would definitely stay again
