Its modern but still felt like a cottage, everything was spotlessly clean, beds were comfy, it was lovely and warm, great location, every detail is thought out so we had absolutely everything we needed and more. The host was brilliant, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

This is such a lovely B&B. We stayed here the night before going to a wedding nearby and had such a relaxing night/morning. We arrived quite late but Anthony couldn’t have been more accommodating. The rooms were super clean with nice comfy bed and the breakfast was so delicious, probably one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had.

When we drove into the yard, the owner was out to welcome us. The fire was lit and the cabin was lovely and warm. Oh! the peace and tranquility of the area was wonderful and relaxing, and to hear the Cuckoo call was a wonderful experience. Coming from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as we did, this would not be possible. We had a great stay and Jeff & Fabienne and their daughter could not do enough for us, what a lovely family. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Beds were very comfortable. Great walks too for our dog. We would have loved to stay longer, so we will definately be back.

The breakfast was fantastic and as advertised. The room was clean, well-kept and overall pretty quiet. The B&B is a short walk (10min) to town so perfect location - just outside the town for quiet but close enough to walk to the pubs, etc.

Centrally located in Swinford. Easy walk to all restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. My family of five adults (two couples and one single) fit completely comfortably in the three bedrooms. Spacious living room for relaxation and chat. Full kitchen in case you need a break from dining out and want to cook a meal. Plenty of hot water and a good shower in bathroom. Clean. Attentive and communicative host. Apartment located on second and third floors of building, so possibly not suitable for persons with mobility challenges, but perfect for all others.

A fantastic stay. June was very accommodating and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. A great room and a great price She even took us to the airport. If we're ever back in the area we would stay there again. Thank you June

The Town has excellent facilities, we were situated in the centre of the town and had no issues getting any parking, great eateries whether they be take out or restaurants. People of the town were very friendly and welcoming.

Not a lot in Swinford, we used it as stopover for the airport! But some good places to eat, Lettuce Eat although not grand was excellent and great value. Mellett's Emporium is one if not the best pub I have been to in Ireland. There is a big Tesco store on outskirts

Town is smaller and quiet. Kiltimagh is a place you can tell the locals care about and they keep it up with flowers, bright colored buildings and murals. The pubs are friendly with some music and good food. There are many detailed things to do in the area such as festivals, walking trails, fishing, shopping and historic sites to visit. It is a great town to stay in if visiting the religious apparation shrine in close by town of Knock. The Midwest airport is also close and so convenient to use.

Knock is a very beautiful place, you can walk around the shrine and museum at your own pace. Anyone can take time to reflect and say a prayer. I learnt a lot about fr Horan who had so much hope and a incredible experience to get things done. Knock is irelands very own Lourdes, but less expensive.

Home baking at our bed and b was the best asset. Place easy to find from the main road. Village of Kilkelly nearby with friendly supermarket. Central for travellers to get to places around. Quiet at nights.

Not much to do and there did not seem to be any decent restaurants around. I was on my own so didn't venture in to any of the pubs but I was actually very tempted as some of them really looked welcoming. To be fair I only experienced Charlestown for a brief few hours.on a Thursday.

We needed to be near Killaturley so Swinford was the ideal place to stay. We ate at the Cafolla, Lettuce Eat and The Gateway Hotel. All very good and open long hours so its easy to get something to eat at any time. Plenty of takeaways if it get a bit late.

We used it as a base to travel to a few sites in Mayo. The Ceide Fields were amazing and so interesting it was a great experience. Went to Foxford Woolen Mills on way home a beautiful place and the food is excellent.

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating...

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating the Apparition of the Mary, Mother of God with St. Joseph and St. John, so is of appeal to Catholic and other Christian believers and to some people from the other Abrahamic Faiths, Judaism and Islam. It is a modern facility located in a beautiful local setting, and an interesting and scenic part of the west of Ireland, with a local airport and car-hire facilities. As well as religious services, counselling services are available daily. There is an interesting museum and attached to it a very attractive restaurant. The Conference Centre called St. John's Welcome Centre is well equipped. The bookshop is also well managed. There is ample free parking at the venue.
