IrelandThe room was very big. The beds were very comfortable. My mother really enjoyed having her cups of tea in the bedroom. It was excellent to have live music in the bar even though it was a Tuesday night and there was plenty of space for dancing. Breakfast was huge.

United StatesEverything is brand new. The beds are comfy, the carpet fresh, the facilities excellent. They’ve put so much thought into the hotel and we feel lucky to enjoy it all. The food was excellent. Service is fantastic, everyone is kind and chatty if you want. Really nice people. The town of Westport is adorable and great music every evening in all the pubs. Also the Westport house was a big plus, a beautiful walk onto a lovely park with horses and rivers that lead to the old Manor a family owned for over 250 years. The family built Westport. We were lucky because it was open but in just a few months it will close for restoration which it sadly needs. It will be an amazing tourist destination once completed.

Westport and day trip to Clare Ireland as part of a three week trip. The west of Ireland is so beautiful and cpmpletely different from the east. Be prapared for cool weather and occasional rain showers any time of the day or night.

Westport is a beautiful town in a stunning location with lots to do nearby. The town is really pretty with lovely shops and restaurants and some traditional bars with great music. There are lots of places to visit nearby too including Westport house, clew bay, croagh Patrick. The area is also steeped in Irish history. The surrounding countryside and scenery is really beautiful on a clear day but also on a ‘wild’ or wet day. County Mayo has a unique light quality which needs to be seen to be understood. It is often the subject matter for artists

My second short visit to Westport and it's as lovely as ever.
Highly recommend for groups, couples and families to come here for a short stay or a longer holiday. It's got a bit of everything. I'll be back for a third visit but my stay will be longer next time.

Westport is a very pretty village with a lot to see and do.
Westport is a very pretty village with a lot to see and do. The locals are friendly in general and it is a fun place to explore. However, parking is a nightmare!! It ruined my time there worrying where I was going to get parked this time and driving around and around trying to find somewhere. I don’t like that there is so much street parking because other vehicles make dangerous manoeuvres to get into them while you’re driving behind or around them.

People were so friendly..very clean, beautiful flowers around the town. Great selection of good food and bars. Very easy to get around.
We ate in awards winning restaurants. Excellent food, Italian and Bistro s.

We've been visiting Westport for many years now. I find it ok. The bars & the locals seem friendly & it's a nice town & good location for beaches & of course to Croagh Patrick

A great hotel in Westport town centre, in a walking distance from all facilities, one potentially wants to visit - the train station, Westport House and estates, restaurants, cafes, boutiques, churches ...Westport Quay is 1,8 km.
For local transport are best to be used taxis, called by reception.
All receptionists are wonderfull.
My room was spotless and quiet.
The hotel has a great restaurant with a bar. 👍

When we arrived into check in I got a lovely peaceful vibe I knew instantly I was going to enjoy my stay,staff very friendly. My room was ground floor close to all facilities & for personal reasons.Westport woods hotel shone through for me I will be back hopefully might get a good deal.x

It was a an absolutely 💯 lovely hotel, lovely food exceptional staff and Westport is a beautiful, friendly town . I definitely will be returning to both the Castlecourt and Westport.

Hotel is in an excellent location a short walk from the town centre. The views from the hotel are also amazing with the dining room overlooking Westport and Croagh Patrick.
