Everything about this hotel spoke "quality". Reception welcome, friendly staff, attention to detail in the room, luxurious touches such as body lotion, conditioner, biscuits, robes and slippers... modern light and curtain and heating and door indications controls. Food was excellent. Gym and spa small but comfortable and great for city centre location.

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

Great place to see!

Great place to see! It's definitely worth to see Trinity College and Guinness Museum. It's nice to walk the river to see the 'Silicon Docks'. Temple Bar is really overrated and overpriced. Just go there, have one bear and that's it - go and find good pub in your neighborhood and you'll have better fun :) Go check yourself! :)

The people were so friendly in Dublin.

The people were so friendly in Dublin. We attended a concert and the transport links to cope with the crowds at the end were good. The bars had a great atmosphere although the drinks were quite expensive. We enjoyed an open topped bus tour, it was a good way to see the sights. We also enjoyed the Guinness factory tour, the staff were very helpful finding us a seat in the roof top bar as my friend has mobility issues.

EPIC museum is a must of you are interested in Irish history...

EPIC museum is a must of you are interested in Irish history. The open top bus was a great way to get an overview on places to which you might return. Strolling the Temple Bar area during the day was very pleasant with music floating out from many places in the early evening. I recommend The Palace pub for an authentic feel. Guinness is better in Ireland.

We all loved Dublin so much - so much to do and see.

We all loved Dublin so much - so much to do and see. Can walk everywhere from apartment (and I'm 79). But there are buses and trams also. And the taxi drivers are the best anywhere!! They're the ones to ask questions and get tips on what to see People are so nice and so much fun. Loved Kilmainham Gaol (very moving), National Gallery of Dublin, Sweny's Pharmacy, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral (next door). The bells were wonderful. Trinity College library was amazing. Book of Kells was too "experiency" as was Guinness Storehouse. Wouldn't do those again. And, of course, loved all the pubs!! Can't wait to return.

Dublin was great. Plenty to do and see.

Dublin was great. Plenty to do and see. The people were really friendly. Guinness was excellent. Favourite places were: Cobblestone pub - live music after about 16:30. Musicians just turn up and play. There were over 21 one night I was there. Dame Tavern - Old pub near Temple bar. Great Guinness and friendly atmosphere. The Confession Box - Great pub with history. Priest used to hear confessions upstairs during the uprising. The Bank - Food. Excellent DE Banker - Pub and food. Great selection of beer and food. Temple bar area can be expensive. Prices drop quite a lot in the surrounding area. Hop on - hop off bus well worth it. If you want a taxi use their local app 'Tap a Taxi'. It supports local taxi drivers Guinness Storehouse ok but slightly disappointing. Jameson Distillery good with tasting.

The hotel is located in the city centre of Dublin. It is in the walk distance to all major sightseeings (Trinity collegue, Book of Kells, Guinness, Temple Bar, Jameson destilary, St. Patrick Cathedral ...) and near to public transport. A big plus for us was a really quite area, so you could sleep at night. We had a breakfast, which was really good. The price was 15 €. We would like to thank all the staff of the hotel, they were kind and helpful.

We chose the hotel for its convenient location, adjacent to the 3Arena and with easy access to central Dublin and the DART rail interchange. Normally there is a tram link to the city centre but temporarily there is a replacement shuttle bus and this worked well for us. We liked the large bedrooms and the comfortable bed. Highlight for us was the engaging staff, particularly the bar, restaurant and breakfast service teams.

We chose Kelly's for its central location in Dublin and the proximity to everything in the city centre. The staff were very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast was provided complementary in the adjacent restaurant. The room was cozy and we were advised when booking that the hotel was situated above two busy bars with live music at the weekend. Everything was fine and we slept well.
