The room was very big. The beds were very comfortable. My mother really enjoyed having her cups of tea in the bedroom. It was excellent to have live music in the bar even though it was a Tuesday night and there was plenty of space for dancing. Breakfast was huge.

Everything is brand new. The beds are comfy, the carpet fresh, the facilities excellent. They’ve put so much thought into the hotel and we feel lucky to enjoy it all. The food was excellent. Service is fantastic, everyone is kind and chatty if you want. Really nice people. The town of Westport is adorable and great music every evening in all the pubs. Also the Westport house was a big plus, a beautiful walk onto a lovely park with horses and rivers that lead to the old Manor a family owned for over 250 years. The family built Westport. We were lucky because it was open but in just a few months it will close for restoration which it sadly needs. It will be an amazing tourist destination once completed.

May be biased, as my mum was from Ballina, but It's a great little town with plenty of bars, plenty of shops, the Moy and close to Enniscrone and Knock Airport. A great place to stay to visit Mayo. There's a lot more to the county than Castlebar and Westport!

Cong is a lovely village, very clean and tidy, traffic on a one way system, main route with lots of articulated lorries passing. But easy to navigate. As a big "The Quiet Man" fan I loved it, with tours and Museum and also Ashford Castle. Had dinner in Pat Cohan's great restaurant /pub with great staff. Local people are very friendly, would visit again

I like the warmth and friendliness of the people I met, and the helpfulness. Achill Island is very beautiful and because I came by electric car I was delighted to find a new charger near the hotel - a practical point but important for me. Also having a car made getting around easy. If God could be persuaded to hold off the rain next time I visit that would be great

Town is smaller and quiet. Kiltimagh is a place you can tell the locals care about and they keep it up with flowers, bright colored buildings and murals. The pubs are friendly with some music and good food. There are many detailed things to do in the area such as festivals, walking trails, fishing, shopping and historic sites to visit. It is a great town to stay in if visiting the religious apparation shrine in close by town of Knock. The Midwest airport is also close and so convenient to use.
