The room was warm, luxurious and beautifully arranged. I was taking part in the all-night vigil at Knock Shrine 07-08 December 2025, and the hotel was in walking distance of the shrine. Very well located, I was free to come and go, throughout the night. There was a huge choice of food offered at breakfast in the morning, both hot and cold, in a self-service style, with all you can eat.

The stay at the b&b was fabulous. The lady that looked after us was so kind and helpful, from start to finish. I would recommend staying here to anyone, and myself and my sister will be back to stay again.

The breakfasts were top class, they mix it up a little each day depending how busy the hotel is. Sometimes it’s a la carte and sometimes a full buffet. Poached eggs are spot on! And the scrambled eggs are very good too. The dinner menu had a really good selection and the daily specials are truly amazing. Highly recommended

It's clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff are very kind and accomodating. It was very convenient for us to go to knock shrine because the bus stop is only few steps away. The location is superb! Will definitely recommend this hotel. 😊

Knock is a very beautiful place, you can walk around the...

Knock is a very beautiful place, you can walk around the shrine and museum at your own pace. Anyone can take time to reflect and say a prayer. I learnt a lot about fr Horan who had so much hope and a incredible experience to get things done. Knock is irelands very own Lourdes, but less expensive.

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating...

Knock Shrine is a religious venue and Shrine commemorating the Apparition of the Mary, Mother of God with St. Joseph and St. John, so is of appeal to Catholic and other Christian believers and to some people from the other Abrahamic Faiths, Judaism and Islam. It is a modern facility located in a beautiful local setting, and an interesting and scenic part of the west of Ireland, with a local airport and car-hire facilities. As well as religious services, counselling services are available daily. There is an interesting museum and attached to it a very attractive restaurant. The Conference Centre called St. John's Welcome Centre is well equipped. The bookshop is also well managed. There is ample free parking at the venue.

I found getting there by train from Heuston(Dublin)to...

I found getting there by train from Heuston(Dublin)to Claremorris and onward by bus to Knock was easy enough. Once there it was easy to go onward to other destinations as a number of buses go through Knock. Derry,Athlone,Galway and Westport to name a few. There is are diverse eating establishments. Knock is very easy to get around although trying to park may at times be a problem.

I would not recommend unless you are very Catholic as apart from the Shrine which is beautiful, that's it. Knock hotel felt like a retirement home and it was scruffy and staff very unprofessional.

Knock is a Holy Marian Shrine in Co.Mayo.

Knock is a Holy Marian Shrine in Co.Mayo. I find it one of the most serene places I've ever been and find a peace there like no other. Friendly shopkeepers and a beautiful basilica. Highly recommend this beautiful shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Knock

It was my first time in Knock - I thought it was a lovely...

It was my first time in Knock - I thought it was a lovely calm ,peaceful place. The mass was really nice - beautiful sermon and singing . I ate at one of the local cafes across the road from the church . Fab food there! I highly recommend Divine Mercy B & B- just fabulous Elsie the host . Such a kind lady give me great recommendations of the area. I felt staying there was like a home from home 💫

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed this property. The location was perfect—just a two-minute walk from Knock Shrine, which made our visit so convenient. The beds were very comfortable, and the accommodation was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax. A special thank you to our host, Elsie, who was so lovely, welcoming, and friendly. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Knock.

The property is exceptional in its cleanliness and decor. It is in an ideal and beautiful location, my room had a wonderful view of the Basilica. Knock Shrine was within a 5 - 10 minute walk from the property. Linda and Declan are excellent hosts, very accommodating and helpful. My room had a tv, kettle and tea/coffee making facilities, was warm and very comfortable with an en-suite bathroom (with shower). Excellent breakfast aswell !

When we reached, I was told the room is undergoing maintenance and hence no longer available, other hotels were either unavailable or too costly...a family looking for accommodation in the dead of night in an unknown city... it was a horrible experience. The host helped us finally to get another room...but it was too bad an experience.
