United KingdomWow what a fabulous hostel. By far the nicest and most spacious bathrooms I have ever experienced in a hostel. Wonderful hot water and great pressure.
Having a full kitchen was awesome. Eight pot burners, two ovens, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and all the cooking supplies was super handy. Eating out is expensive but buying groceries and cooking at the hostel was a great way to taste Iceland. I also love to cook so finding fresh fish and locally grown veggies at the markets was lovely.
Fredricko (sorry if I spelled that wrong) at the front desk was super helpful with recommendations, setting up tours, etc. And a fabulous cappuccino maker.
The bunk beds were great and I loved the privacy blinds on them. Beds were comfy and clean sheets. I was surprised when my extra suitcase fit under the bed in the ground locker! Super spacious to fit all your gear.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. The bunk rooms do hold a lot of people but with the privacy curtains helps to give you that personal space. I sleep with eye masks and headphones/ear plugs so I didn't hear the other people. Everyone respected quiet hours well and it was nice.

SwitzerlandFantastic hotel in a prime location, no more than 20 minute walk to most sites of interest in Reykjavik. Lovely and very professional staff.
Solid breakfast (great coffee and insanely delicious, warm and buttery cinnamon rolls, the best we have ever tasted) and good sauna facilities freely available to guests (priceless in winter).
Beds were a dream, immaculate and very comfortable rooms.
Very expensive but this is Iceland!

The self-service check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the free luggage storage room was an especially helpful extra service.

The property is exceptionally beautiful, by the waterfront, serene and peaceful. They have gorgeous Icelandic horses at the main entrance that make the stay feel even more authentic. The view from our room was beautiful, the rooms are spacious, beds are absolutely comfy and the bathroom have a bidet / Muslim shower.

The superb location just by the sea. The ambience. The beautiful room ( though the attic could have been a little bigger...anyway I would not deduct any points for that). The place had all the vibes we were looking for. We had great time staying for 2 days and exploring the golden circle as well as the capital city.

Stayed for four nights. Accommodation was excellent, perfect location. Very clean. Had heavy snowfall on third day which made it look even more picturesque .
