Loved my cottage overlooking the harbour. I found it spacious for a solo traveler, but would have been fine for a couple. Spotlessly clean. Unlimited hot water. Well appointed. We did the 4x4 buggy tour which was super fun, and a full day at the Blue Lagoon. Dining options in Grindavík were limited. The restaurant at the Blue Lagoon was outstanding. In town dining options were passable. Would book a stay here again.

The property was so beautiful. The spa was ridiculously nice and loved our water massage in the blue lagoon. Never seen such a well staffed operation. Dinner at the Moss Restaurant is a must! It was insanely good. Need a rezzie in advance. Also, hotel breakfast is so good. There’s a great buffet plus you can order anything from the menu. Loved my morning omelette!

The hotel is literally right next door to the Blue Lagoon and perfectly located for exploring the southwest coast and volcano areas of interest. The food in the restaurant was excellent although the service was a bit slow.

Cottage was beautiful and very cozy. Great location close to Blue Lagoon. A little harder to get other places due to road closures after recent seismic activity and Grindavik feels a little post-apocalyptic as it reopens. But also somehow totally serene. Magical visit.

The property was in Grindavik, a mostly evacuated town, due to a prior volcano eruption. This place is very close to the blue Lagoon, with great views off the shore, surrounded by unique and beautiful scenery, and was overall a great place to stay. The breakfast was phenomenal with multiple options, including a hot breakfast.

SILICA is an incredible hotel experience. Private and secluded yet with access to the busy Blue Lagoon, and its facilities, it was just perfect. The room was wonderful, and opens out to a moon-like view. The private lagoon was a wonderful way to start the day.
