Amazing experience and breathtaking views of Fuji. The room was pretty comfortable and the hotel was fantastic. When visiting Fuji I will stay in La Vista for sure.

I stayed for 2 nights as a solo traveller. I enjoyed the Japanese-styled room and the onsen, and the place was peaceful with wonderful views of Mt Fuji and the gardens (I was fortunate to have good weather during my stay). The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and was delicious. The staff were professional and helpful, and there was a handy bus shuttle between the hotel and Kawaguchiko station. I had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mizuno. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning — and even on days when Mount Fuji isn’t visible, it’s still such a beautiful place to relax. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and offer amazing value compared to most hotels in Japan. Especially if you prefer Western-style dishes, this hotel really stands out — the quality and presentation are far better than what I experienced in other hotels in the country if we talk about the same price category. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kawaguchiko. 🌿

Everything was very good, clean and comfortable especially for the money we payed. The staff is very kind and friendly, breakfast was very good also

The view of Mt Fuji from the room & dining area was fantastic! The staff were welcoming, the food was great (we had both dinner and breakfast - both super delicious!). The wifi was good, there was yukata with haori in the room as well, which we could wear comfortably, the tatami flooring was charming, the beds were comfortable, the in-room bath & shower was enjoyable (I opted to have a warm bath in the tub instead of the onsen) it was fantastic. Also, it's right next to Asama Shrine, which is a beautiful shrine. The cherry blossom tree next to the red Torii gate was in full bloom when we were there, it was gorgeous.

Staying at this place (Japanese style room) has been fantastic experience. The hotel has its absolutely unique charm and aesthetics and brings back beautiful nostalgia. It almost feels like being in a very classy movie. Of course, the staff was always very helpful and friendly. We slept so peacefully on futon, the room was spotlessly clean and inviting to let go and relax. Tap water from Mt Fuji is drinkable! Make sure to try Japanese hearty and delicious breakfast. I indeed hope to come back soon!

Quite worn out in terms of decoration and facilities. But value for money for the location of stay. Great spa as well.

It was really clean but a little far from city center

The facilities were great. The staff were so helpful and speak English very well. I also ask for help calling a taxi on the day I checked out due to snow showers. The location is near from Kawaguchiko station, but if you have a luggage it a bit hard to take your luggage because the pedestrian is not so smooth. My room has a window which faces Mt. Fuji. It was soooo great

This is a very beautiful property with a very kind hostess. Kim is definitely the best hostess and makes coming here very worthwhile. She was very welcoming to my family, explaining how the sauna worked. We also had a delicious dinner at their family's restaurant. She went above and beyond to help me figure out activities to do in the area with a taxi, as my train out was later in the day. This was the perfect place for a tranquil escape.
