Properties with Onsen in Fujikawaguchiko

It’s a little far from the bus terminal but very convenient. Clean and friendly staff.

Staying at this place (Japanese style room) has been fantastic experience. The hotel has its absolutely unique charm and aesthetics and brings back beautiful nostalgia. It almost feels like being in a very classy movie. Of course, the staff was always very helpful and friendly. We slept so peacefully on futon, the room was spotlessly clean and inviting to let go and relax. Tap water from Mt Fuji is drinkable! Make sure to try Japanese hearty and delicious breakfast. I indeed hope to come back soon!

Quite worn out in terms of decoration and facilities. But value for money for the location of stay. Great spa as well.

The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is in front of the lake.

We hade amazing view for fuji mountain from the room, the hotel is really beautiful and really big rooms with balcony.

There were so many great aspects about the property including the spacious and modern lobby, bathhouses, and views of Mt. Fuji, but by far the most exceptional and memorable part of the stay was the STAFF! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful — they made a significant effort to speak English and make the international travelers comfortable.

Beautiful lake and Mountain View just right infornt. Onsen is good just right at the roof top. Clean and nice . Next door is Lawson 24 store Love it so much.

Beautiful view of Fuji. Bit apart from town but it worth it

Conveniently located, lots of good restaurants nearby. Lawson and supermarket around the corner. Awesome view of Mt. Fuji. And they have Refa hairdryer!!

The location was perfect and it had an exceptional view of Mt. Fuji. You can see it from all around the house! The onsen was perfect and relaxing, and it was nice how they gave us the traditional robes for it. The tatami for sleeping was of course always nice

As described, very spacious and luxurious. Room was well cleaned, well maintained (dated interior, but it is ok), and facilities such as private onsen pool were in working order. Lastly, the fantastic view of Mt Fuji was worth it and an experience by itself.

Love it it’s 7 stars and more everything is just amazing

I stayed for 2 nights as a solo traveller. I enjoyed the Japanese-styled room and the onsen, and the place was peaceful with wonderful views of Mt Fuji and the gardens (I was fortunate to have good weather during my stay). The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and was delicious. The staff were professional and helpful, and there was a handy bus shuttle between the hotel and Kawaguchiko station. I had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend!

Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Amazing public onsen, awesome view and the private onsen is amazing as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mizuno. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning — and even on days when Mount Fuji isn’t visible, it’s still such a beautiful place to relax. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and offer amazing value compared to most hotels in Japan. Especially if you prefer Western-style dishes, this hotel really stands out — the quality and presentation are far better than what I experienced in other hotels in the country if we talk about the same price category. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kawaguchiko. 🌿

We didn’t expect the hotel will give us so many things for only one night but the spare nothing from us and the view was worth the whole trip to Japan!

Amazing location, staff. Stunning views from the window on Kawaguchiko lake and mount Fuji. Was treated to amazing dinner with wide selection of dishes. Green tea in the room.
