The staff were very friendly and extra helpful. They properly explained the features and facilities of the hotel, as well as the rules and regulations. They were also very prompt. Dinner was served exactly at 6:30PM. Talking about the dinner, it was exceedingly delicious and sumptuous. There were a total of 13 Japanese dishes, and the staff took time to explain how to eat them and in what order. The hotel also had both private and public onsens (shared with other guests). My friends and I had the best experience, given that we had just completed our Kumano Kodo. Breakfast was equally delicious. Lastly, we are deeply grateful to the staff member who drove us to the nearest bus station to ensure that we did not miss our forward schedule. Everyone, book your stay at the Yunominesou. It’s super worth it.

Exceptional property, beautiful Japanese home, modern, clean, new, and fully equipped with washer & dryer. Location very close walking distance to Kumano Kodo trail head at Ukegawa. Owner also runs a noodle restaurant at the trail head. The home is about 2 miles from Hongu. The owner is wonderful. Excellent value.

The entire property, location, most important is Aya was so nice and helpful. She was the first person who speaks English we met, up to the date. She prepared vegetables instant noodle and other dry food for us, which I hardly can get in my whole trip in Japan. Aya also delivered our luggage to our next hotel free of charge.
