Accommodations in Ikoma

Very friendly staff. The hotel owner drove me to the station in the morning.

Meals were top of the notch amazing. We were blown away with the service and accommodations. Lovely onsen, rooms were spacious and cozy will definitely stay again.

The in-room onsen was INCREDIBLE. So convenient, relaxing, and truly healing. I liked that you could open the window for a cool breeze. The service was also very kind and helpful.

Where do I begin. The room was perfect for me. I thought I was in a higher-end hotel. Bathtub in the room and an onsen bath near the lobby separated by gender. Heated toilets with an optional warm squirt in the butt. Traditional pajamas to wear, including over 30 amenities. Laundromat in the lobby area. Breakfast was good, and they provided a free dinner snack. The location was great. 1 minute walk to a subway entrance. 1.5 minutes to a large grocery store. Many eateries, restaurants, and mini-marts within two minutes walk. The people were great. Communicated in English. I will book this hotel again if I visit Osaka again. We'll worth the value.

We were pleasantly surprised by the meals provided at the Ryokan. Meals were beautifully prepared. We didn't get to experience the bath but we hope to next time. Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The staff were all so kind.

Yochi and his wife are the nicest and kindest people. I was treated like a friend and a friend they gained. Yoshi waiting for me patiently, he had pancakes made for me, he even drove me to a service point for my bicycle.

Very nice traditional hotel with nice view

The host was very nice and cheerful. I love my room -very comfy, serene, and has a great view overlooking the city. It has a solo hot bath. I love the Japanese-style breakfast. It was very delicious, healthy, beautifully presented.

I like it’s a small traditional Japanese family style hotel located in the middle of the mountain that’s still close to the town Ikoma by driving. The clear city view from the tea room is spectacular: we enjoyed the sight of the town with the high elevation and mountain range close by. The warm city lights at night and neighboring beautiful cherry blossoms and magnolia blended in the background of green hills under daylight are memorable. The host is also very accommodating: she speaks English and understands us well without too much trouble. On top of making arrangements for tea ceremony and kimono fitting (of course with additional charge), she can provide very good traditional Japanese breakfast. We didn’t try dinner there but I am sure it would be good. It’s about an hour drive away from Nara, Osaka, Tokyo, and other major cities in Kansai. Would highly recommend to people who want to experience what want to explore the city at daytime but want to experience a different vibe to stay outside of the city area at night.

It’s an amazing place! The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. We heard the rest of the meals were also very delicious. Very traditional.

The hostesses are so kind, the property is beautiful and the japanese breakfast is so tasty. I just wanted to stay in the room all day.

The View was very beautiful, Osaka is a nice city to look at from the hills. I always love coming back to Japan to Visit the Kansai when I have enough time and Money. Thank you for having me.

The room was so nice! Bed was huge and comfortable, and I really loved the jacuzzi in our bathroom! Really amazing value for the money.
