Accommodations in Kawazu

The room accommodated our family of 5, and the hotel breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. The onsen was wonderful.

All staff members are very helpful. Especially the English speaking staff Mari is very helpful. I also like the delicious dinner. So tasteful! The outside hot spring has beautiful view of the ocean. Such a beautiful and pleasant property in front of ocean.

The private onsens were lovely. Yes, the view of the ocean is partially blocked by another building, but it's still lovely. Extensive breakfast, comfy tatami rooms with Western beds.

The staff was super nice and the traditional Japanese room was amazing! We had a private onsen on the balcony with a view of the ocean, it was amazing!

Great location, easy parking. Room was large and clean. Liked the rooftop onsen and option for private onsens. Friendly, helpful staff (limited English for foreigners, but everyone tried their best to help!). Free coffee drinks and filtered water in the lobby. Family friendly - my 3-year old loved the kids play room.

The Ocean front view and the hotspring were fantastic and unforgettable. Waking up with the peaceful view of sunrise over the ocean through the bedroom window was the BEST! The Breakfast was to die for, so many options and everything was delicious, including fresh fruits & salad. Can’t beat the experience and value. Wish we had more time to enjoy the Resort and beautiful private beach! Staff was most helpful and courteous!

The design and decor of the room and the location of the hotel

What a gem! We arrived at Kawazu station and Kenji (?) was there to meet us. When we arrived at the property he took our bags up for us and explained all we needed to know. I think we had an upgrade because the room seemed bigger than the one I booked. The room hadn’t been made up yet as we arrived well before check in. We decided to go and do the 7 waterfalls walk and our host was so kind to drive us there. He explained how to get back on the bus and how much it would be. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We ended the afternoon by using the hot tub which was great. Bathroom and toilets were spotless. Outside the rooms there is boiling water, coffee making facilities, microwave and a wee stove and sink. There is also a sink for washing your face and cleaning your teeth. Be aware there is nowhere to eat close to the hotel. We were aware of this and brought food in with us. We found a tiny basic bakery just down the road and we bought a couple of flapjack type things for breakfast. This property is such good value and our host was kind and friendly. We have been in Japan for a month and this is one of our best stays. Loved it and would certainly recommend. Excellent value.

Loved the location and opportunity to use a private onsen. I was a bit concerned about staying in a guest house, primarily about its cleanness, but the place was spotless (even veranda))

10/10 would recommend! Amazing & friendly host. Great recommendations for things to do around the area. Fantastic location; right next to one of the early blossoming sakura trees. Wonderful stay; very comfortable and spacious. Will stay again! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

This lodging was a peaceful and idyllic spot perched amongst a quiet songbird-filled neighborhood not far from the coastal route which was easy to locate with Google Maps. It was tastefully decorated and we loved the loft with shoji screen. The necessities were available (hair dryer, toothbrush, tea kettle) which we really appreciated. If cooking out is your desire there is a shared kitchen nearby on the property. We did dinner out one night and dinner “to go” the other. Coming home after sightseeing along the rugged and windy coast felt so cozy. Loved relaxing here!

everything ! . very kind owner . very very clean house ! . everything in the house is well thought . free coffee and tea, even cup noodle is available for only 100 yen . bathtub with hot spring water from the source . very clean bed and very warm blanket . fast wifi thank you Kishi-san ! will definitely come back :)

Absolutely loved this property because of how phenomenal the location was. We were right on the strip of the festival and the property was beautiful with a cherry tree right next to it. Very lovely living and hangout spaces and lots of windows for beautiful lighting. It had a very nice traditional vibe.

A beautiful home! I had a very relaxing stay with my family (with 2 kids), everyone enjoyed the house so much. We loved the Japanese tatami rooms and the onsen bath was amazing. It was a very nice touch that the home provided coffee and some basic items in the kitchen.

7 minute walk from Station, pretty much flat, weren't pavements all the way but traffic is light in this small town. Looked like loads of parking - not a single car in the lot however.
