With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

I like the room space which is quite big, good enough for my family of 4. The bathroom was so nice too, with the big bath tub. My kids love it so much. The staffs were helpful and considerate. My toddler have accidentally pressed the mini vending machine inside the room, the item that we don't need. We told the staff and she said it was okay and she reset the machine while we were away without charging us for the item.

Breakfast was surprisingly good! Even though it was served in at a separate venue, it was delicious. Well worth the price of 800 yen! However, they should make the coupons in English for tourists. I would recommend this!

The hotel is quite exquisite for our first time experiencing ryokan. The room is spacious, our kid was enjoying running around and had fun, sound proof was amazing. The facility is kid friendly with free gift, chairs and toys to keep them busy. Ryokan breakfast and dinner experience were superb too with exquisite services from the staff. I personally like the souvenir store, it consolidates various arts, craft, fashion and food around Otsu, Shiga and Lake Biwa.
