Accommodations in Nakanojo

I honestly cannot understand how cheap this hotel is considering the fantastic facilities it offer, the size of the rooms, the courtesy of the staff, etc. etc. I am sad we only stayed there one night and would suggest staying at least two. The private bathtub/small onsen in the room was fantastic. The room is also so peaceful and quiet, I had the best sleep ever.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Definitely will visit again. The value was far beyond the cost. The staff were amazing—super polite and incredibly helpful. I was especially touched when I woke up in the morning to find my shoes neatly placed at the front door and the snow already cleared off my car. You get to experience many different types of onsen, all private, with beautiful views and spacious, elegant baths entirely to yourself. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They also provided yukata and a traditional kotatsu, making it a complete Japanese cultural experience in one package. I’ve stayed at several expensive hotels before, but this place offered even better service than some of the luxury hotels I’ve experienced. I felt like a vip during my stay. I’m genuinely amazed.

Shima Onsen Kashiwaya Ryokan has an unbeatable ambiance and makes you feel instantly relaxed and at home. The private onsens are amazing, the meals delicious and the staff are beautiful and warm Special shout out to Andy and Sophia! But all the staff are amazing!

So beautiful! The food was amazing the service was phenomenal. The room was better in person and well worth the money
