Accommodations in Nozawa Onsen

Everything about this place suited me perfectly! The location, the amazing room, the hospitality, the cafe-style included breakfast & the fantastic sushi restaurant in the same building. The sushi was so good I ate there both nights of my stay. Looking forward to returning in winter sometime.

Ideal location next to the Nagasaka Gondola, very friendly and accommodating staff, clean place, yummy breakfast! Great deal!

The inn keeper was amazingly attentive. He seemed to clean the bathrooms 20 times per day. The cleanliness of the inn was great. He provided good advice and Information regarding town. His service was impeccable. The inn was across the street from one of the lifts although notably it is one of the minor lifts. Espresso available in the morning with breakfast Parking available a few steps away

The location, staff, food and in-room onsen were highlights for this ryokan!

Location can’t be beat in the center of town. Onsen that was empty most of the time, mix of western and traditional breakfast set, very receptive to our needs. Building is old but has a lot of charm.

Great location to Main Street and ski center. Right across the street from an Onsen. Staff was extremely attentive, caring and very helpful with recommendations.

Although, the room’s private onsen can only accommodate one person, it was incredible to have that to yourself after a long day on the slopes. The hotel design has a nostalgic 80s feel to it.

Great location, great restaurant downstairs. Laundry is free which is nice.

The location was ideal as it was just a minute away from both rentals and the gondola. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating any time we needed anything. We will return there when we visit Nozawa Onsen next time.

Great location- right next to the chair lift, and the rental places which makes your ski/snowboarding trip super easy. Then just a 5/10 min walk into town for dinner, supplies, etc. Lovely staff, traditional facility- ie communal showers- but this made it more special. Very well maintained and clean. Would stay again.

Very covenient location close to bus stop, mountain, onsens and restaurants/bars. Mia (staff) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was super comfortable and it was lovely to stay in a Japanese style tatami room :)

Friendly staff and very accommodating. Pretty decent spot and easy to get to the gondolas if you decide to walk , took roughly 5 min to Yu-walkway and 10-15 to Nagasaka Gondola for me. They do offer shuttle service to Nagasaka Gondola too! Great snowboard and ski storages downstairs.

I loved every part of it, especially the breakfast. I’m not a morning person but i drag myself out of bed every morning just for the breakfast. Miso soup should be a staple in everyone’s breakfast.

A traditional Ryokan in a perfect location if you are skiing or not skiing. Great to have an onsen on site. Staff were very helpful & friendly

I was so grateful just to find a place to stay in Nozawa Onsen as it seemed like a challenge. I wanted to stay somewhere more traditionally Japanese and this was it. Loved the views, loved the location of the hotel (can walk anywhere in town), and loved our cozy room. The staff was also super helpful in assisting us with calling a taxi. Breakfast is great!

Super nice staff, very helpful and friendly. Very close to the main gondola. Full kitchen you can use. Very comfortable bed. Cool architecture.
