Close to the station. Modern and clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant opens for all meals. Spacious beds with a great view. Polite and helpful staff

We are bicycling and they had a safe secure place to store our bicycle.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel in the beautiful city of Sakata, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Sato-san, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. His warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in his guests created an atmosphere that felt more like visiting a dear friend than staying at a hotel. Sato-san genuinely cares very deeply about his hotel and was very excited to engage in meaningful conversation. Our conversations with him were one of the highlights of the trip, and the connection he makes with his guests is something truly special. As a Canadian visiting Japan, I felt embraced and at home here, which made my time in Sakata all the more memorable. Every minute of our stay was filled with warmth, comfort, and joy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough—if you’re coming to Sakata, this is where you should stay!

It’s a beautiful hotel and the staff is so helpful! I loved using the bath in the mornings as the hot water helped my back.

Lovely Japanese-style room. Delicious breakfast. Nice onsen bath overlooking pretty garden. Very friendly staff.

Wonderfully cozy ryokan that is perfect for a couple, and the meals that they serve are fantastic! It is also located at a strategic spot that is a very short distance away from the historical Sankyo Rice Warehouse.
