Accommodations in Battaramulla

The host was very friendly and accommodating. After we complained we did not like the room we got (tiny bathroom), he moved us to much nicer one. AC was good and the room was spacious. The location is perfect if you are coming to Colombo to do visa extension - only few minutes' walk from the offices.

I loved staying at this beautiful, proud, authentic and uncompromising Sri Lankan family home come hotel, finished as it was to the highest of standards and so very tastefully decorated, all risen up from the once lakeside bank. I was greeted by my courteous hosts on arrival, respectful of my long journey from the UK, and made to feel welcomed and comfortable right away. My accommodation was as described and expected; it was immaculate (cleaned twice during my stay of three nights) and more than adequate for my needs. The food was delicious; although breakfast was lovely, my evening meals have been the best I have had here so far, being especially well cooked and prepared, further enhancing my first-time-in-Sri Lanka experience. The hosts arranged local tuc tucs and drivers for me, usually at short notice, and we're always keen to help out, particularly with timings on my leaving day. I said that if I came to Sri Lanka again I would stay here again and I meant it. Thank you all for the quality of all of your services and your thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

Had a pleasant one-night stay at City Hotel Thalawathugoda. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Great value for a short stay—would definitely visit again!

Location is very nice. Nice place with a big garden. Very close to the Immigration office & Diyatha Uyana Park. Friendly and helpful staff. Room & Bathroom very clean. Value for money in the Colombo.

The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and everything worked just fine. The location is perfect for those who need to go to immigration office. The owner is such a kind soul 😊

From the booking process to the stay, everything was smooth and the owner was very receptive to any requests we had. The apartment was well maintained and clean with necessary amenities readily available.

Nothing ! The staff managing the place did not know English to communicate was very difficult. It was only because I had a local , I was able to converse. Since we checked in around 11:30 pm , and I suppose the staff does not stay close to the rentals. They had requested us to pick them. The place did not have an AC, no water , no blankets! Bathroom was not quite neat.

The house was amazing and sparkling clean upon arrival. The host was friendly and supportive, making our stay even more enjoyable. This place offers unique characteristics as an affordable alternative to costly options in this area of the country. Additionally, every utility in the house was usable and working perfectly. We had a quality stay without any issues. Every amenity was in good order, and even the soap, water, and other essentials provided by the host were selectively awesome. We usually receive only small pieces of soap in most options at this level, but here, everything was thoughtfully provided.

Host was friendly and everything was arranged on time. Great place next with a 5 minute walk to Waters Edge and the lake. Rooms were on the sixth floor with nice views of the Colombo skyline during the night.
