The trip to the hotel was very adventurous,breath taking view ,friendly and helpful staff , delicious breakfast .

We wandered the hotel grounds looking for birds, and encountered so many species, from kingfishers to eagles, just on the first day alone! Staff were very friendly and helpful; they arranged transportation for us, helped us track down more of the tropical fruit they served on the menu (the mangoes were amazing), and have connections for a variety of excursions.

It's hard to really capture how amazing this place is in words. The Wanakaset staff was super friendly and accommodating, and truly were the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. They helped us drive our rented tuk tuk up the hill (very much needed), and welcomed us with a delicious and refreashing drink. The rooms and the lounge are absolutely stunning, and lovely to spend time in! The food was great, and they were very accommodating to a vegan diet (meat isn't served at all in the resort). We highly recommend doing a guided walk around the property, where you get to see the beautiful nature, learn more about the project, and hear about the properties of the plants around the resort. We also loved the cooking class, where we learned more about Sri Lankan cuisine, and the traditional cooking methods they use in the kitchen. Thank you to Banda and his team, we hope we can come back soon!

It's not a place for those seeking a 5-star hotel experience, but it is a 5-star retreat if you love to immerse yourself in nature. The owners are incredibly helpful. I received food for the night (paid) and breakfast in the morning (free) from their restaurant. You’ll be surrounded by nature's rhythm all day, with the soothing sound of the Kelani River in the background. You can even take a dip in the river if you wish. The place offers basic facilities, including a washroom and soap, ensuring your essential needs are met. Staying here is truly a unique and wonderful experience, perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature.

Everything was amazing, the view, the place was super clean, people managing the resort were so kind, they even gave us a free breakfast when we came, the property has the most amazing view, the food was great, the field was amazing 🤩 I regret to stayed only one night, i wish we stayed more ❤️ thank you Manjula for your support & Hospitality 🙏🏻
