One of the best places in srilanka , we had the best time , the views are amazing wooow , totally worth every dollar, the guys helped us taking our heavy luggage, all the time cared about us , put music from our country, and even gave us the JBL speaker , big thank you for both of you , the dinner was very delicious

The hotel is truly a hidden gem - we were so lucky to stay there. The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy, with incredibly beautiful nature all around. The calming sounds of nature allow your mind to fully relax. It was exactly what we needed. An essential part of what makes this place even more special is the staff - everyone is warm, kind, open-hearted, and genuinely caring people. The food is absolutely delicious. We decided to stop in at the Golden Residence to break up our trip to Kandy. The owner was great and very accomodating. Our rooms were very large and spotless and the tour of the hotel gardens was fun. We had to leave early and the had a huge and tasty breakfast spread ready to go for us. Best value and cleanest rooms we have had to date in Sri Lanka!!

It's hard to really capture how amazing this place is in words. The Wanakaset staff was super friendly and accommodating, and truly were the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. They helped us drive our rented tuk tuk up the hill (very much needed), and welcomed us with a delicious and refreashing drink. The rooms and the lounge are absolutely stunning, and lovely to spend time in! The food was great, and they were very accommodating to a vegan diet (meat isn't served at all in the resort). We highly recommend doing a guided walk around the property, where you get to see the beautiful nature, learn more about the project, and hear about the properties of the plants around the resort. We also loved the cooking class, where we learned more about Sri Lankan cuisine, and the traditional cooking methods they use in the kitchen. Thank you to Banda and his team, we hope we can come back soon!

Excellent place, spacious rooms, with a lot of vegetation. Anushka is very kind, as is his family. He is a very good guide, he knows a lot about his country and its tourist attractions. If you have any questions, I recommend that you ask anything, he will help you. It was an incredible day in their cottage and the typical Sri Lanka breakfast was amazing 🤩🤩 I will back , I’m sure 🫶🏻☺️
