Great location and great bathroom space

We loved the location, the nice view, and the cozy design of the room. The self check it went smoothly. The hotel has a variety of snacks, drinks and essential items you might need for your trip, available anytime, on the ground floor, which gives peace of mind. The room was quiet, even if it's across the station, it has a good sound insulation. The bed was comfortable. And they have mini night tables with wireless charging. The air conditioning in the room went well, we could turn it off or adjust when needed, and we could also open the window. The shower we liked a lot, together with the high quality toiletries. Overall an amazing experience.

Great location for us during 3 October celebration.

Loved the breakfasts. We enjoyed our room, lovely and big with a small deck for sitting outside. We loved eating the breakfast along the canal with lots of boating activity. We were so happy the bus came and went just outside our door. Went to The Hague on it, Delft and Scheveningen.

I was in contact with the hosts and they made everything easy. Entry to the apartment was well-organized and my family and I were very comfortable in the apartment. The views were wonderful, we spent a long time just gazing at the harbour scenes. I have stayed at de Volharding three times now and will continue to do so. Dank u vel!

Photos hardly capture the beauty of this lovingly tended boutique villa. I encourage those who seek a olde world feel stay to make their reservation. The room, dining, and gardens are all up to snuff. Downtown Beukenhof is a stroll away and worth the effort.

It is very well locater, just a block from Leiden Central. The staff is nice and the breakfast was very good

The room was very clean and the breakfast was nice, many options to eat. The bed was very comfortable.

The rooms were comfortable, prepared to a high standard and staff service was very good. It was also close to the heart of the city and next to the main station for east transport links to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam.

Amazing location in the center of Leiden, self check in, so no encounters with staff but everything runs smoothly. Great hotel highly recommended.

This room is a dream. The room is very spacious has a wonderful view and it just felt very cozy not wanting to leave and explore. There was a tv a heater and a fan depending on your needs. the location is amazing is 5 minutes from the train and 10 minutes walking from the center. Really nice town to explore.

A nice bottle of wine was provided, and hosts were very responsive and relaxed, great location!!

Lovely place situated in the heart of Leiden. The bed was very comfortable and the soaking tube was such a gem. Also, the view was lovely--and if you stay on a Saturday there's a huge market. Walking distance to all major attractions. Would definitely recommend!

After having stayed at a snug room with limited space for my favorite activities, like journaling and postcard writing, I luckily found accommodation at this pretty BnB for an extra night. Monique, was wonderfully attentive, ensuring a smooth check-out for my early departure the next day. Her warm welcome with a delicious very Holland-orange King’s Day cake, set the tone for a truly enchanting stay. The accommodations exceeded my expectations, offering luminous ample space and a cozy yet refined atmosphere. Equipped with modern amenities, including a hair iron! (which helped me to finally look presentable for a final dinner that day). Gracias, gracias, gracias. 🙏🏻
