United StatesEverything! Our host was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The guest house was immaculately clean in all aspects. The kitchen facility was well stocked with everything necessary and the large outside dining table was perfect for dining and socializing with other guests at the same time. We would definitely stay again. And the sound of the surf at night was a welcome bonus!!

There is an on-site restaurant that looked delicious, however we did not eat there. Sorry we bought takeaway. We would definitely stay there longer if we returned to the area.

New ZealandI didn't expect the holiday park to be as accommodating as it is I mean it's huge, and very clean and tidy, Impressive. Close to the beach, with a very nice fish n chip takeaway shop, bottle store, and petrol station 1 minute before the camp grounds.

New ZealandThis is an extremely unique and special property. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind at the end of the year. The outdoor spa was gorgeous and pizza oven fun. The kids loved playing on the lake. It is an absolutely beautiful setting that is very well looked after. Hamish is a friendly and welcoming host who explained everything for us and helped with local fishing and swimming tips. The living and bedrooms are cosy and very well appointed. I cannot reccommend this more highly for a wonderful family retreat unique to Aotearoa.

The trees around the house are perfect for kids to climb and explore, and the home itself is cosy and welcoming. The new bathroom is beautiful, and the shower has incredible water pressure—definitely a standout! From the comfort of the house to the stunning surroundings, this retreat is highly recommended for anyone wanting a beachside getaway.

New ZealandExcellent location for the drive to Cape Reinga. All the amenities you need for your trip. Kim was very friendly and helpful.
Despite having been through a cyclone a few days before, the only noticeable effect was the pool. Kim and staff had done a great job cleaning up so you wouldn't even have known it had passed through. Thanks for a great stay.

Accommodation was good and view wonderful. We ate there and were expecting something mediocre given a fairly small restaurant attached to a motel, however, our expectations were happily exceeded by the quality of the menu and the food and drink were exceptional. Added to that the hosts were v welcoming.

The best hostel stay I've ever had in my life. The house is so nice, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms always tidy and clean.
It was easy to get in contact with other guests, what we really liked. If we ever come back to NZ, we'll definitely come back here!

Amazing Holiday Park, probably the best I've stayed at. Great for families, kids loved the playground and the communal areas.
Communal showers/toilets were clean, had a good hair dryer.

The location and camp environment itself is stunning. I booked this as I had mahi in Kaitaia the next day and am not familiar to the area. I thought this would be the most comfortable to stay in for a mahi accom. Its more a traveling vibe - like if your bouncing around, on holiday - this place is kei te pai :)
But as this was a work trip, it didn't feel so comfy to stay in... all good cos I know the vibe for next time :)

Gems is a wonderful location that is rig by at the start of 90 mile beach. The beach is expansive and the appearance of wild horses made it special. Accommodations are very comfortable for an overnight stay or longer. A great location in Ahipara!
