The woman running the hostal is such a friendly person and very helpful. The room was cozy, clean, and warm. If we come back to Juliaca we will definitely stay at the Hostal Sumak’usi again!

The staff - it was a guy at the reception when we arrived - was super helpful! He helped us order food, recommend restaurant, gave us all the info we needed, booked us a taxi for the airport the next day. Great guy, although he didn't speak English! The room was very clean. I think the hotel is new or newly refurbished, because all the stuff in the room was clearly brand new. Super comfy bed, hot water, Netflix & other streaming platforms. For us it was the perfect restful night after an intense tour on lake Titicaca.

We reserved these rooms last minute when a flight was canceled and really didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was wonderful! Very patient since we didn't speak Spanish, very helpful and accommodating. She personally made our breakfast and called to check on our pre-arranged taxi without before we even thought to ask. The traffic in the area is crazy busy, but the room was quiet. It was plain but clean and roomy. A very good value.

The room itself was clean and comfy. It had television, comfortable bed with adequate covers, and sanitary restroom. My only complaint about the room was that the shower was not warm enough. While the bathroom window had no cover, the manager explained to me that the window was like a one-way mirror on the outside, though.
