United StatesThe proprietor was one of the most welcoming I have encountered in my 80,000km bicycle ride around the world. Greeting us with “Bring the bicycles inside and store them securely on the patio.” Music to a cyclist’s ears! And very friendly and pointing us to the “best restaurant within 100 kilometers.” True! And, conveniently, 100 meters from the hotel.
The hotel was charming and super clean and super comfortable. Great beds, a lovely deck overlooking the city (and the finest restaurant for 100kilometers).
A really great stay for a weary cyclist—-obrigado!

Maybe a bit sparse, but excellent value for money. I have stayed here with my family on numerous visits. Every time I shop around a bit, and then revert back to Beatriz. It is comfortable enough and excellent value for money, also very well located. My high rating is really based on the above and my needs

The best thing about our stay was the staff. Inês and Mafalda were super friendly and welcoming, and made us really felt at home. Teresa cooked a delicious dinner and Inês told the story of the wine making project so nicely. It was a lovely stay.

This is an amazing retreat venue, open outside of retreats to those just looking for a B&B equivalent. However it still felt like a retreat experience even so, and we LOVED our stay here with amazing hosts and lovely animals greeting us at each corner. Home grown food as well, done to perfection. This place is speculator, and a bit of a hidden gem at the moment. Go before everyone learns about it! :D We will be returning for sure.

The best stay ever. Fabulous staff, wonderful grounds, great food. Great for families too. Don't hesitate, GO! I stopped by Herdade Dos Grous on our way out .. Herdade do Vau was the better choice on all counts.

It was the friendliest place we have stayed in the time we have been away. The family run business went out of there way to help and support us after we had lost some luggage in Lisbon

Amazing location to explore Serpa, just around the corner from praça da República and the castle.
We stayed in the apartments, amazing facilities with everything needed to cook.
Towels were provided and everything was spotless.
