I absolutely loved everything about it! From the staff, to the food to the spacious room!

From the pick up at the airport to the receptionist and housekeepers, the friendly ness and welcome was top class. Clean bathrooms with great amenities, an iron, ironing board, coffee and tea. Air-conditioning, and many channels on the TV. Great food both dinner and breakfast. I felt safe and can highly recommend.

Location excellent, very central to city center which is safe to walk, even at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. we stayed in the junior suite which is very nice and spacious.

I really like staying there. It is located in the city center. The staff is really great. Amazingly good breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious . I highly recommend it. I will definitely stay there again.

My stay at The Nest was truly magical And one for the books. I was treated with so much kindness and professionalism by the kind staff. From the time I made my booking, to the day I arrived and was met by a kind driver “Mr George” at the airport and the communication with the hotel staff was clear throughout the entire process. Being a female solo traveler it can be nerve wracking as you never know what to expect. The location is fantastic and theres so much to do close by. The staff is made up of the kindest team who are super honest and so respectful. That really stood out for me. In terms of aesthetics, there’s an amazing flow, I loved the attention to detail. A lot of thought went into the design process and love how sustainable development was incorporated into the design of the property. Pictures dont do justice to how exquisite the place is. The food my goodness I was in heaven. Every single meal I had was so exceptional and the staff at the restaurant are just as meticulous. And the complimentary message mage the experience even more memorable. Such a thoughtful and wonderful gesture in making the entire stay simply phenomenal. I can’t wait to visit Rwanda again soon and will definitely be staying at The Nest. Thank you to every single staff member who went above and beyond to look after me. Bless you all.

I stayed twice. Benjamin the owner was always friendly. Bobo and Gerady and rest of the onsite staff, were fantastic - friendly and kind and helped explain how to get around town, order food, and get a cold beer. Really appreciated this as a solo traveler first time in Rwanda - rooftop bar with nice views in day and nights. Great to relax, meet other guests (I traveled with two of them) - restaurant on site (order dinner early) which is good. I didn't see restaurants with within walking distance but that's more Kigali being a huge city. - Mototaxis were always around so easy to get a ride anywhere for cheap - 15-20 minute walk to Kigali Genocide Memorial (uphill going there , all downhill going back easy walk and safe) or 500Rfr on mototaxi (30 cents ) - walking 20-25 uphill to downtown and car free zone (700 Rfr mototaxi). - offers $20 pickup from airport even at 1am which is when many international flights arrive . Recommend since StayKigali sign is up several ramps from street, and not easy to find first time At night. Mototaxi to airport was 2000 Rfr ($1.50), drop off across street from airport and 10 min walk through airport arrivals and parking lot to departures. -Gerady negotiated with the mototaxi drivers so that we could visit both Ntarama and Nyamata church genocide memorials. The whole trip was 10,000 Rfr ($7.50) round trip per person with the driver waiting an hour at each site. I went twice with others . We each got our own mototaxi (be ready to balance for 25-30 min rides and bring water and wear sunblock, there's a free guide at each church ) The TripAdvisor and Viator tours for the two sites charged $250 to $300 per person plus so Gerady really made this possible for us. - ask for hot water to be turned on if you aren't getting any. Some rooms have fans, hair dryer, flat iron. Fan was important. - at bottom of ramps, there's small shop that has snacks , water, shampoo and conditioner, drinks etc. very handy.

Charles was very welcoming and hospitable. I was grateful that they accomodated my request for early check in. Great staff, clean rooms and beddings. Very good breakfast.
