Everything! I absolutely LOVED our staying in Alpine Homestead. Rooms are so cute and cozy, dinner and breakfast were deliciously amazing and well prepared and Jasmina and her team were wonderful and very accommodating. Jasmina was also very interested in our itinerary while in Slovenia, asking about the places we were going to and recommending cities to visit. It doesn’t feel like your average standard hotel. It is a special and unique experience. I recommend this place to EVERYONE.

I really enjoyed my stay! The whole process of getting the apartment was incredibly smooth, which made for a stress-free arrival. The place was spotless and everything felt brand new, which I really appreciated. It was also fully stocked with all the essentials—from snacks to pans and cutlery—so I had everything I needed from the start. Everything worked perfectly and was in great condition. The host was super friendly and responsive, and even went the extra mile by recommending great places to visit. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s a really cool and unique property. The hosts are very nice and helpful and we loved the location. Being close to great hiking trails and an awesome restaurant about 1/4 mile away was fantastic!

The room design and location are very good, and I appreciated the availability of bicycle rentals and the generous breakfast. The hotel’s restaurant is also a big bonus — the food was delicious.

Perfect location to explore triglav national park.

Amazing property recently refurbished. We stayed at the Bear apartment on the ground floor. It has 1 bedroom but a massive sofabed and a armchair which can become a bed so It can sleep up to 4 people. It was perfect for us, a couple with a 7 year old child and a dog, as there is a terrace facing the forest with a little gate, so we could safely let our dog and our child out to play. There are swings outside too. There is everything you need in the kitchen(pans, pots, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, knives etc) but you need to stop at the nearest supermarket in Zgornje Gorje on your way there as you can only find salt and pepper at the property. The apartment is clean and warm. The management/team was very responsive and helpful! The Pokljuka family ski centre is 150 meters away, where families can enjoy sliding with sleighs and use the kids slopes and a small adult ski slope when open. The Hotel Jelka is just above for some good earthy food and delicious pizza. There are also horses to visit. The Sport Hotel Pokljuka is also 150 meters away on the other direction, with ski lifts running every day and where you can rent a good range of ski equipment. There are a lot of amazing hiking routes. We are so happy we found this gem.

Loved this place. Great change of pace from the places we stayed in cities. Wood burning stove for heat and very peaceful place.

The location was great though a little difficult for our car - unpaved road, steep uphill. There was no service (data nor phone) which was a plus for us. The cabin is very cute and cozy. The owner communicated well and there were no issues.

very happy about 5 days in the heart of the National Triglav park, little but comfortable mountain house outside civilisation… love!

Absolutely beautiful location within the Trigalev National Park.

Centrally located in Triglav Park, this villa is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing retreat. The kitchen it's well stocked with excellent cookware and dishes. The sauna is complete with essential oils. The fireplaces are stocked with wood and starter material. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of sheets and blankets. We loved drinking coffee on the porch listening to the birds in the morning.

Excellent apartment and the region is so beautiful. Kitchen was equipped, bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. I stayed for a night while doing the Juliana trail. Easy entry and the manager was very responsive and even got me a large bottle of water since I was hiking up with a heavy backpack. One thing that didn't bother me at all but might bother other guests: the apartment is not soundproof, so one can hear the neighbors chatting.
