Quite and peaceful rooms are clean and spacious

Old world charm in the middle of town. Nice size rooms and a comfy bed. Good selection at breakfast with the main dish changing each day. Staff were excellent. It was our second visit and hopefully not our last.

Amazing. Make us want to stay for another day, and promise to come back to enjoy your splendid hospitality and the scenic ambience again.

Incredible pool and main spaces. The bungalows were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The small cafe part of the hotel was cute.

The architecture of the building and the friendliness of the staff who went out of their way to accommodate my needs. When I was ready to leave fir a very early flight, there was a staff member "waiting" nearby to carry my bag down the stairs.

Comfortable rooms, breakfast and nice staff

We liked staying in Baan Jaru and extended our stay two times.

Beautiful hotel and big property. The view from the roof top is stunning, especially at sunset. Breakfast is sumptuous.

We stayed for a night, and it was great. The aunties at the reception are really helpful and friendly. 7 minutes walk to town and 7-Eleven nearby.

Property has old Thailand charm.staff warm and helpful , convenient near walking street , breakfast good , rooms large.

Room is clean and without cigarette smoke smell, Bed is too soft for me. Location is good, near to everything.

Wish we could have stayed here longer. It was outstanding experience! It is on the level of hotel. We had one room with very comfortable king bed. The room was spotless, we received complementary food, tooth brush and other essentials every day. You can have coffee etc. in the kitchen, too. It included self-service breakfast (eggs, toasts, sausages, jam, coffee etc). There is a gym, common space area with board games, billiard. You can rent a bike vis Mercy hotel (B-rider which is reliable and rhe best rental company). The location is excellent and quit. Actually, the whole place is quit and they keep it quiet after 10 pm. Last but not least, the staff was genuinely so kind and helpful. If we ever visit it again, we will stay here. Thank you so much for making our time in Chiang Mai so great.

I had an amazing experience at The Secret Corner Hostel! The place is spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed — it truly feels like a home away from home. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling; they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. The location is peaceful but still convenient, close enough to explore the city and local attractions. The beds were super comfortable. I also loved the relaxing common area and the small garden — perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Rai — whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, it’s one of the best places to stay in town!

The chairs and tables outside were nice. A restaurant/bar was right around the corner. The water in the shower was hot and the layout of the room was great for my cats. There's a rack to hang clothes that I also put a box on top of. And I didn't have to deal with any bugs in the room, which is kind of rare for the region.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. House is located a very short walk from the bus station and night market so it was great for arrival, departure and close access to the market for food in the evening.

The location is very convenient and close to the night bazaar. The house is very comfortable and complete with nice sofas, a big TV, table and chairs. The rooms are also comfortable and clean. The facilities for cooking are also very complete. The facilities for washing clothes are also complete, even with an iron.

Everything was perfect, very clean and very nice staff!
