SingaporeMrs Wang made us wonderful breakfast both mornings and was an exceptional host, we hung out for hours in the ground floor living room. She also gave us a free switch of rooms that was more catered to our needs free of charge, since there were no other tenants during the time of our stay. The view from the room of the countryside plantations were also lovely, and the bathtub was a nice added luxury. Great price for so many perks.

Its a very homey,comfortable place. I get the feeling of staying in my relative's place during my childhood during my stay. The toilet had bidet, super clean and they give free toothbrush upon your request. I cannot speak mandarin but I love the effort of the host to communicate with me. They take note of my dietary restriction and serve me something that I can eat (I'm a muslim). I got welcome treat and vegetarian breakfast that is super delicious. The location is in the middle of paddy field so its super beautiful too.

Very clean rooms per homestay’s pictures, and well thought initiatives for children such as sterilizer, kids toothbrushes & toothpaste, standing stool etc. The living room area has a legoboard for kids to play.

Host was soooooo friendly even though we did not meet the boss in person. When we faced an issue and they responded so quickly and resolved it.

We self drive to the homestay and find the location is easy to find. Our kids and ourselves love the decor of the room. They also provide automatic car for kids to play, living room hv an area for kids to play too. Water for showering is good too. Will choose Songfeng for our homestay again if visiting Yilan.

The description indicates the room we booked is with sea view but to our disappointment the view is total contrast, facing run down houses and with puddles of muddy water in the road after the rain! We have to cut short our stay to one night instead of 2 nights. However, the host is very kind and waited for our arrival till after 9pm as their reception is supposed to be closed at 7pm. We are thankful also that he kindly helped us to carry our luggage up to the room.
