The room was very clean and cleaned daily, The air conditioning was working very well and made our stay convenient on really hot days. I spend about 3 months a year staying in hotels around the world on holidays. Quinta do Bosque is one of those rare hotels/villas where u can’t find fault! Everything superb. Beautifully decorated, outstanding breakfast, comfortable mattress, soft sheets and they also provide a set menu for dinner (changing daily - local produce) which was fantastic. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in the Quintas largely due to the beautiful accommodations at Casa das Quintas. It was a welcoming refuge at the end of busy days exploring the region. The location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was gracious and kind. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

What did I like? EVERYTHING! The view, the pool, the rooms, the food, the wine, and most of all the people!! I've travelled to 45 countries and stayed in all types of accomodation. This was one of my favourite experiences. We had planned to eat out at the local restaurants and ended up staying and eating the amazing dinners in house. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The pool and that view is heaven. It was just a beautiful experience and such a relaxing break between visiting Lisbon and Porto. I would love to return in future!

This accomodation is located on wonderful location. Rooms are very clean, from the terrace with swimming pool is great view on the river Douro. From there you can also watch the sunset. The staff is very friendly and everyone tries hard for the guest's comfort. I highly recommend visiting this accommodation.

Our stay here was idyllic. The staff and property were warm, professional, and delivered consistent five star hospitality, cuisine and accommodations. The UNESCO World Heritage Douro Valley views here are the absolute best in the area. Highly recommend!

Every part of our stay was brilliant. The staff couldn't do more for us and very friendly. We had booked a room with a private pool and it was fantastic, a completely relaxing little haven. We ate a few times in the evening at the restaurant which is a set daily menu of 3 courses and we also did the on-site wine tasting which I would highly recommend. The other thing we did was order the picnic one evening which was lovely, all freshly prepared and delivered in picnic baskets to our room.

The property is wonderful; we travel to a lot of high end hotels and this was really great service and accommodations. This hotel is very special, food is wonderful, staff is extremely helpful and attention to details made our trip very enjoyable. We 100% recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxurious, peaceful and local experience! We will come back!

It was one of the best places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel is beautifully located and decorated with attention to detail. Quite a large area with greenery and stunning viewpoints, a swimming pool with sun loungers, tennis court, billiards, etc. Everything you need for a successful holiday. The service was so friendly and helpful.

Staying here was pure joy! Looking out over the Douro and vineyards was delightful. Patricia and her family were so welcoming, providing wine and food as well as local recommendations, which were fabulous, too. The accommodation is very comfortable and unique. Would love to return and highly recommend.
