Since 2005, Quinta do Vallado has been ready to welcome guests to its comfortable Wine Hotel. It initially opened its doors to the Traditional House, built in the 18th century and formerly belonging to the family of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, where there are five recently renovated suites. The growing success of the project led to the construction of a second building in 2012, made almost entirely of schist, the dominant material in the region's soil. This new eight-room building was designed by architect Francisco Vieira de Campos, who was also responsible for the winery renovation project. In 2023, Casa da Eira was completed, with six more suites, using wood as the main construction element. In total, Quinta do Vallado has 19 rooms: 5 rooms in the Traditional House combining comfort and decoration in a traditional and historic setting, 8 rooms in the modern building with private balconies featuring contemporary décor with sober and modern lines, and 6 rooms in Casa da Eira with private terraces. It also offers a range of facilities, such as a swimming pool, walking, cycling, and boat tours, picnics, and wine tastings. It has free private parking and provides a shuttle service to/from the airport (at an additional cost).
