Just a two-minute walk from the airport, this place is both exceptionally clean and wonderfully cosy. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay even more special by decorating our room for our honeymoon. We also absolutely loved the breakfast basket—it was a perfect touch!

I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay...

I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.

It’s a lovely little home stay just out of Matosinhos on the...

It’s a lovely little home stay just out of Matosinhos on the Santiago trail. A hand made place with a good atmosphere, simple, very quiet and clean. Excellent connection to the leisure beaches in the north as well as Matosinhos and Porto. Close to the airport. The place is at the outskirts of Matosinhos which is n industrial zone and harbour. The beach is scenic because of it’s contrast of nature and industrial background.

Free parking on the property was very convenient.

Free parking on the property was very convenient. With a metro stop located around the corner, it was easy to take public transportation into Porto. It is about a ten-minute drive from the airport, perfect for a base to explore the coastal area or do trips into town. Hotel was very clean, AC worked well and the area seemed safe. Beautiful garden area and a nice outdoor pool.

Away from the more touristy parts of Porto, Guifões is...

Away from the more touristy parts of Porto, Guifões is considered a rural part of the city. Public transport is excellent but if you don't mind a wee walk up some very steep roads, the journey into Guifões centre is stunning. This is where locals have their morning coffee, incredibly well-priced lunch and such.

Lavra is great if you want good beaches and an authentic...

Lavra is great if you want good beaches and an authentic Portugese experience .However it is quiet with limited Bars ,restaurants and shops.However Porto and all other attractions very achievable by Uber which is fast ,efficient and very reasonable for any trips.

Staff attentiveness excellent, facilities are extraordinarily well renovated, and with all ammenities in the room, brilliant blend of old building and new modern facilities, deserves accolades in the way it’s been designed and now feels as a home away from home, felt very comfortable. Loved it.

I lived there as a student in 1987-88 and had a long term visit in 1990. It was the charming escape from the city. I will always have my heart in this little town - I would like to keep it for myself so "it's terrible-don't go" haha

Large room, comfortable bed and rustic decoration. Breakfast is full of local, homemade treats, We particularly liked the pancakes and freshly pressed orange juice. Great location: 1-min walking distance to metro station, and 10-min car drive to Vila do Conde Fashion Outlet. Really good value for money.

Small seaside town with fishermen's village at the end. Several fish restaurants and fish market very intersting for people from an inland country. Driving time some 35 mins from the center of Porto.

Great location!

Great location! You can walk to the airport (around 8 minutes) and close by restaurants (5 minutes). Staff was very kind and helpful! We'll definitely go back next time we travel to/from Porto airport.
