FranceWe loved everything about our stay! We booked the Deluxe Suite with a fantastic view over the valley, the river and the national park and it was absolutely worth it. The location is perfect to explore the national park or just to unwind. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing.

The owner/host lady welcomed us with the best smile and showed us around.
The place is just amazing. Everything looks antique (because it is antique) but in a beautiful way.
The breakfast is just great. The lady prepares a big meal, from salty to sweet. You could just eat this for the whole day.
Room was super clean!!
The location is in a small village where everybody was curious about us, but happy to talk, even if without english...and the village is in the middle of beautiful nature, close to a stunning national park.
-bonus note for animal lovers: in the place there are several animals. The ones you will see more often are 2 nice dogs. When we went for a walk in the village, one of them came with us all the way, as it was showing around.

It is very easy to get around Vieira do Minho, the grocery...
It is very easy to get around Vieira do Minho, the grocery stores are a short drive away, the property we stayed at has all the facilities for a great get-away. Our favourite place to visit was the Campo do Gerês and Augas termais de Riocaldo in Lobios.

Considering we stayed one month, it wasnt long enough. if you love unrestricted access to mountains, waterfalls, the fauna in northern Portugal. the genuine friendliness of the people, and the food, Gee Wizz , come and enjoy what they have on offer, an example of the local people, we were climbing a steep road at the foot of a mountain near Ermal, and passed by a man cutting brush, once he realised what we were attempting, he gave us armfulls of fruit from his house, Kiwis, Apples, and Oranges, Just smashing, what a lovely guy.

This is a lovely chalé with a beautiful setting and plenty of outdoor space. We especially loved the pool and pool table in the game room. At night , we can enjoy the star-filled sky together with our children. Nelson and Vera were also very kind. They let us know they could let us check in early and check out late. This was such a thoughtful gesture!We will definitely come back if we have the chance.

I was really impressed by the beautiful design of a hotel and it’s design integrated in nature, beautifully combination of taste,elegance and natural ambience. Total attention to details,everything clean, organized with care, amazing spa and tasty dinner with a reasonable price. Seriously I highly recommend
