We felt warmly welcomed at check-in, with excellent service right from the start. The waterfront views from our room were stunning — we could see surfers riding waves and boats gliding across the sea just yards away. The hotel also has great shops inside, making it convenient and enjoyable to explore.

Very friendly and polite staff, great amenities, great complimentary activities (while we were there, there was a wine degustation event with a piano concert, a movie night on the rooftop terrace, a yoga class and many more) and overall an excellent location. The room we stayed in was well organized, very clean and yes, the Japanese toilet was a highlight as well :)

Danny, the homeowner, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay feel truly welcoming. We especially appreciated the chance to spend time with his lovely dog, Reef—such a special touch that made the experience even more memorable. The location is simply dreamy, nestled in a quiet local neighborhood away from the busy commercial areas of Honolulu, which we truly valued. It offered a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. The studio itself was spotless, well-organized, and very comfortable, with everything we needed thoughtfully provided.
